4X     – Special station  4X0BG  will  be  active  on  20-21 April, Holyland
         Contest included (http://www.iarc.org/iarc/#HolylandContest).  This
         activity  is  in  remembrance  of  David  Ben-Gurion,  the  primary
         national founder of  the  State  of  Israel  and  its  first  Prime
         Minister.  All QSOs will be confirmed automatically via the bureau.

9A     – Once again Jan, PA4JJ will be  active  holiday  style  as  9A/PA4JJ
         from mainland Croatia  between  27 April  and 8 June. Expect him to
         operate mainly FT8 on 40-10 metres.  QSL via LoTW,  Club Log’s OQRS

9N     – Sergei, R4WAA will be active as 9N7WA from Nepal on 20-27 April. He
         will operate CW and digital modes on  the HF bands.  QSL  via  home

9X     – The next operation of  Silvano, I2YSB  and  the  Italian DXpedition
         Team is planned to take place  from Rwanda  between late  September
         and early October.  Further information is expected in  due course.

CN     – A large team of Moroccan operators  will be  active as  5C5AF  from
         Mogador  Island  (AF-065)  on  17-22  April.   QSL  via  operators’
         instructions. [TNX F6AJA]
CO     – Cuban multi-operator station  T43A will be  active on  27-29 April.
         They will operate SSB, CW and FT8 on 40-10 metres.  QSL via LoTW or
         direct to RW6HS.
J8     – Brian, GW4DVB will  be  active  again  as  J88PI  from  Palm Island
         (NA-025) on  21-29 April. QSL via  home  call,  direct only (PayPal
         information on http://www.g4dvb.co.uk).  He will operate mainly SSB
         on 40-6 metres. [TNX DX World]
JA     – Kenji, JA4GXS will be active as JA4GXS/5 from  Naka Island (AS-200)
         on 22-23 April.  He will operate CW, SSB and FT8  on  40-17 metres.
         QSL via home call. [TNX DX World]
JA     – Look for Tak, JR1LZK/6 and Mitsu, JE1HXZ/6 to be  active from  Kita
         Daito Island (AS-047) from 27 April to 7 May. They will operate CW,
         SSB, RTTY and FT8  on  80-6 metres.  QSL via home calls  (direct or
         bureau), Club Log and LoTW. [TNX The Daily DX]
KH1    – Neil King, VA7DX has joined  the KH1/KH7Z  Baker Island  DXpedition
         team, which now includes 15 operators (9V1YC, AA7A,  AA7JV,  HA7RY,
         JN1THL, KN4EEI, K6MM, K6TD, N1DG, N4HU, N6HC, N6MZ, ND2T, VA7DX and
         WJ2O). “As with any DXpedition to the really rare ones”, and KH1 is
         the 6th Most Wanted DXCC Entity, “this will be another large budget
         operation.  The  operator  team  will  contribute  over 50% of  the
         expected budget of  $400,000.  You can help  make  this  DXpedition
         happen by  visiting  our  website  (http://www.baker2018.net),  and
         contributing today. With two months to go before we board our  ship
         in American Samoa, we thank you in advance for your support”. Plans
         are for KH1/KH7Z  to  be  QRV  from  26 June through  7 or  8 July,
         depending on weather and seas, and to  “to bring the KH1 Entity  to
         as many operators, and countries as we can”.
OJ0    – Pasi, OH3WS will be active again as OJ0W from  Market Reef (EU-053)
         from 27 April to 4 May.  In his spare time he  will operate CW  and
         some SSB. QSL via OH3WS, direct or bureau. [TNX NG3K]
T2     – 17-24 April are the new tentative dates  for  T2AR’s activity  from
         Tuvalu (OC-015) [425DXN 1405]. In his spare time Tony will  operate
         SSB, CW, RTTY, JT65 and FT8  on 160-6 metres.  QSL direct to 3D2AG;
         PayPal  instructions  on https://www.qrz.com/db/3d2ag.  He does not
         use LoTW or Club Log.
V4     – Alex, W1CDC will be active holiday style as  V47CDC from  St. Kitts
         (NA-104) from 23 April to 5 May.  He will operate CW only on  80-10
         metres. QSL via W1CDC. He does not use  Club Log or LoTW.  [TNX The

VK0/M  – Norbert,  VK0AI  (home  call  VK5MQ)  arrived  at  Macquarie Island
         (AN-005) on 12 March, and will  remain there  for one year  [425DXN
         1402]. He is now “working towards getting a  station on air in  the
         near future under a  number of  operating  restrictions”.  [TNX The

3B7A —> The 3B7A team has been QRV  since  6 April.  They  are  likely  to
“partially dismount the antennas” on 15 April; six operators will leave  the
island on 16 April,  while two operators will  remain  one more day  “with a

CQMM DX CONTEST —> The CQ MM DX Contest, organized by the  Juiz de Fora CW
Group (http://www.cwjf.com.br/), will be  held on  21-22 April.  It will run
from 12 UTC on Saturday through  23.59 on Sunday,  on 80, 40, 20, 15 and  10

IOTA HONOUR ROLL —> The 2018 Honour Roll  and  Annual Listings  have  been
posted on the  IOTA  website https://iota-world.org/: click  on  PERFORMANCE
LISTINGS in the dropdown menu under PROGRAMME INFORMATION. “Together the two
main listings  show growth  of  4.6% over  the  same listings  in 2017.  221
record-holders have scores of 1000 or more IOTA groups, an increase of 6.8%,
and 562 have scores of at least 750 groups, the number required for the IOTA
Plaque.  Scores at the top continue to close with 37 record-holders breaking
through  the  1100  mark  and  17  of  them  within  10 of  the  top  score.
Congratulations to joint l eaders  9A2AA and I2YDX on  1119 groups out of  a
possible 1124 and indeed to all who have joined  the IOTA family or  updated

+ SILENT KEY + Emily Thiel, P43E passed away on  12 April after  suffering a
stroke. She was only 49.  A DXer and a contester, she was a board member  of
the Aruba Amateur Radio Club, and ran the P4 QSL Bureau for many years. [TNX
