5W, Samoa:
     Stan/LZ1GC is going on a DXpedition to Samoa and Vanuatu. He’ll
     start from on Upolu Island (OC-097, WW Loc. AH46cc) where he will
     stay from September 28 to October 14 and operate as 5W0GC on all HF
     bands on CW, SSB and RTTY. His focus will be on 160m and 80m. QSL
     via ClubLog OQRS, LoTW und LZ1GC. http://www.c21gc.com/
9H, Malta:
     Klaus/DL7OO (ex DD1AY) will be QRV from the club station 9H1MRL as
     9H3GK on one evening during his vacation on Malta, between
     September 25 and October 2. He plans to operate on 20m, 40m and
     possibly 80m SSB. QSL via DL7OO (d/B).
9X, Rwanda:
     Members of the “Italian DX Team” will conduct a DXpedition to
     Rwanda from September 26 to October 10. Signing 9X0T, they will be
     QRV on all HF bands on SSB, CW and RTTY. The callsign 9X0Y will be
     used exclusively on FT8 (40m – 10m) in DXpedition mode. QSL via
     I2YSB.
C2, Nauru:
     Lance/W7GJ will activate Nauru (OC-031, WW Loc. RI39ii) on 6m
     between September 28 to October 14. His focus is on EME but he will
     operate CW, SSB and FT8 too. His callsign will be C21GJ, QSL via
CT3, Madeira Island:
     A big team (CT3EN, CT3DZ, CT3BD, CT3IA, CT3KY, CT3KU, CT3FW, OM3BH,
     OM3GI, OM3RM and OM7LW) will operate the CQ WW DX RTTY contest from
     Madeira Island (AF-014) as CR3DX in the M/2 category. QSL via
     OM2VL.
EA8, Canary Islands:
     Ewe/SM7BHM, Vaeinoe/OH9GIT, Kari/OH2BP and Vilnis/YL2KF will take
     part in the CQWW DX RTTY as EA8DED (M/S low power) from Puerto de
     la Cruz (AF-004). QSL via OH2BP (d).
G, England:
     The special event callsign GB1SOE will be on air on September 30
     from the “National Museum of Computing” in Bletchley Park on 40m CW
     (7035 or 7020 kHz).
GJ, Jersey:
     Kazu/M0CFW will take part in the CQWW DX RTTY as MJ5Z from Jersey
     (EU-013, WW Loc. IN89ve) with low power. QSL via LoTW, ClubLog.
GM, Scotland:
     The special callsign GR150NIB, active from October 1 to 28, will
     celebrate the 150th anniversary of the “Royal National Institute of
     Blind People” (RNIB). Operator Terry/GM3WUX will operate on the HF
     bands mostly on CW, with some SSB. QSL via G3SWH, ClubLog.
I, Italy:
     The “ARI Fidenza Club” (IQ4FE) will activate various special
     callsigns in 2018 to remember milestones of radio history. In
     October, II4OER will be used to remember Hans Christian Oersted.

LZ, Bulgaria:
     In October, the “Bulgarian Radio Club Blagovestnik” (LZ1KCP) will
     use the specal callsign LZ1545POA for their annual “All Saints”

OK, Czech Republic:
     The 100th anniversary of the Czechoslovak Republic (Czechoslovakia)
     will be celebrated during the month of October with the special
     callsigns OL100A, OL100C, OL100E, OL100N, OL100R, OL100S, OL100T
     and OL100Y. A special diploma will be available QSL information see

V3, Belize:
     Victor/WB0TEV and Scott/K5PS are travelling to Belize from
     September 27 to October 2 and will take part in the CQWW DX RTTY
     contest as V31VP. Outside the contest they will also operate as
     V31VP on SSB/RTTY/FT8 and V31CQ on CW. QSL for V31VP via WB0TEV
     (d/B), ClubLog; V31CQ via K5PS.
VE, Canada:
     Chris/VE6CMV will travel to Goose Bay/Labrador (Zone 2, WW Loc.
     FO93uh) from September 27 to October 4 and operate from 80m to 6m
     on SSB, RTTY and FT8 as VO2VC, including a participation in the
     CQWW DX RTTY contest. QSL via VE6CMV (d/B), LoTW.
VP2V, British Virgin Islands:
     Steve/AA7V will once again travel to the British Virgin Islands and
     operate as VP2V/AA7V from September 26 to October 1, including the
     CQWW DX RTTY. Outside the contest he will also operate CW and FT8.
     QSL via LoTW and AA7V.
ZA, Albania:
     A big team from Albania, Austria and Slovenia is going on a
     DXpedition to Lake Shkodra (WW Loc. JN92rd) from October 1 to 12.
     They will sign ZA5V and operate on HF on all modes and look for EME
     contacts on 2m and 6m. QSL via OE6FNG (d/B).

Enigma Reloaded:
     From September 28 to October 6 the 5th edition of the “Enigma
     Reloaded” will take place. A list of participating stations and
     further information can be found on the website:
19. ARDF World Championship:
     South Korea was the host of the 19th ARDF World Championship which
     took place from September 2 to 8, which was also celebrated on the
     air with the special callsign HL19ARDF. On this occasion, a special
     post stamp with ham radio motives was issued on August 31.
