BITS & PIECES -

Hear ye, hear ye all NAQCC members far and wide:
Please be advised that the Florida Chapter of NAQCC will hold their November Field Event on Friday, November 21, 2014 from 14:00z (9 AM EST) to 17:00z (Noon EST).  Our gallant group of brave winter radio warriors will once again face the fierce winter elements of late November at Lake Diaz Park, located about nine miles north of DeLand, FL along Route 11. Temperatures could range from 50F - 80F but unless the wind blows or it rains, or one of the many alligators in Lake Diaz carry us away, we'll be searching for NAQCC members.
Please listen for Art WB4MNK (NAQCC #5274), Steve WB4OMM (NAQCC #5913), Rick AA4W (NAQCC #1628), Wally KG4LAL (NAQCC #6278), Pete AB8GU (NAQCC #6913), and Don K3RLL (NAQCC #1905) on 7.030, 7.040, 10.116, 14.060-14.062, 18.080, and perhaps even 21.060. We may even have a little QRP SSB activity on 40m and 17m.  And if we are blessed with a 10 meter band opening, we'll attempt to burn holes in 28.060.
And for anyone even remotely close to the Daytona Beach area, please feel free to come by and share our stations or bring your own.
Thank you,
Art, WB4MNK NAQCC-FL
