8J2I adverts a religious ceremony in Ise (JCC 2103) till the 30th

The special event station 8J2KSG7X celebrates the 70 year jubilee
of the city Kasugai (JCC 2007) till the 31st of October on all bands

Sapporo (JCC 0101) hosts the 22nd Yosakoi Soran Dance Festival.

OA, Peru:
Well known globetrotter and DX operator Vlad, UA4WHX, has shown up
as OA4/UA4WHX on the bands. The length of his stay is unknown at

The radio club of Opole was founded 55 years ago, hence the
activity of HF55O until the end of the month (including CQ WW WPX)

SU, Egypt:
SU8N from Nelson Island had to interrupt operations on sunday
morning because of a broken down generator. The OPs plan a return
on a yet unknown date.

UA, Russia:
R230CF operates between the 12th of May and 13th of July in honour
of 230 years of the Black Sea Fleet. QRV from the cruiser Michail
Kutusow in Noworossijsk on all bands and modes.

V31, Belize:
Bob, K4UUK, continues to operate as V31RD till the 18th of May on
80-6m in SSB QSL via h/c, direct preferred.

VP2E, Anguilla:
Rich, KE1B and Anna, W6NN will put Anguilla on the air
holiday-style for a week between the 9th and 16th of May as VP2EAQ
and VP2EAR. QRV with 100W and a Buddipole on all bands 40-10m in
CW, SSB, and RTTY. Daily uploads to ClubLog will depend on internet

W, USA:
The Ogden Amateur Radio Club will commemorate the Transcontinental
Rail Road Golden Spike with the special even call W7G. QSL via

The museum ship USS Midway in San Diego will be QRV as NI6IW on
the 11th.

YO, Romania:
The Radio Club Aerostar Bacau puts YR60A on the air till the end of
August for 60 years of their air- and spacetravel factory. QSL via

ZS8 Prince Edward and Marion Island:
Carson, ZS8C (ZR6CWI), has taken up his post as Space Weather
Engineer on Marion Island (AF-021, WAP ZAF-10, WWFF ZSFF-012) until
April next year. Within the same time-frame he is joined by David,
ZS8Z (ZS1BCE) who stays on the island as a radio technician.QSLs

Camb-Hams Group from Cambridge will be active once more from Mull
as GS3PYE/p 10th till 16th of May. QRV on 160-2m and also 472kHz.
They will set up 5 rigs for HF. Stations for 6, 4, and 2m will
operate from the south-eastern coast (IO76). 2m operations will
include EME, as well as satellites (also UHF). Skeds possible via

MS0RWR is put on the air by members of the Riverway Amateur Radio

OT4R/ON4ARV, plans to be active from Punta Cana (NA-096, WLOTA
2974, WW Loc. FK58tn) from the 10th of May till 1st of June as
HI7/OT4R. QRV each day 2000z - 2200z on 14266, 21226, and 28450,

OC-086; KH0; Northern Mariana Is. (incl. Rota, Saipan, Tinian,
etc.): The Saipan Rental Shack will see an activation by Akira,

SA-004; HC8; Galapagos Island: Daniel/DL5YWM will continue to

4JFF-012 - Pirgulu Natural Reserve
Members of the Safari DX-Activators Club plan to be active on the
9th and 10th of May from the "Pirgulu Natural Reserve" (4JFF-012).
QRV on 40 and 20m, 4J0SFR in CW, and 4K6AE in PSK31 and RTTY.
Activity on other bands will depend on condx. QSL direct only via
4J5T (Parvana Hasanova Fornatti, 12584 Eden Ct., Apple Valley, MN
55124-5747 USA).

DLFF-156 - Noerdliches Wietingsmoor
On the 9th of May Matthias/DK7LV, Ric/DL2VFR, and Friedrich/DL4BBH
plan to activate this DLFF area as DF0WFF and DF0DFF. Operation
will begin around 0830z in CW and SSB. QSLs via bureau or DL2VFR.

FFF-1285 - Nature 2000 - Presqu'ile de Crozon
Eric/F4EJW and Didier/F4ELJ plan an activation of Aber Island (DIFM
AT-006, DFCF 29-057), which also doubles as FFF-1285 on the 12th as

FFF-1243 - Reserve Naturelle de la Petite Camargue Alsacienne
Jean-Luis/F5OCL will get on the air from there between the 11th and

IFF-624 - Oasi Molino Todari
Members of ARI's Mestre section will put IFF-624 on the air for the
first time on the 12th of May as IQ3ME/p. QRV on 20 and 40m, QSL

Hans/PA3YFG will spend his holidays (5th-12th of May) in various
