A team consisting of Tony, RT9T, Dmitry, RT5K, Alexey, RN3TT,
Dmitry, R3GM, Eugene, R2AA, and possibly Oleg, R7LP, and Eugene,
RA6LFO, are going to participate in a multi operator effort in the
CQ WW WPX CW Contest (May 24/25) as P3N from Pachyammos (AS-004,
MIA MCI-002, WLOTA 0051, WW Loc. KM65he). QSL via RW3RN.

7Q, Malawi:
Remco, PA3FYM, will be active from Malawi between May 18 and June 9
(including the contest) with the unusual call 7QNL. QRV on
80-10m(6m) in CW, SSB, and some RTTY. He plans to set up beverage
antennas for the low bands. Remco also works for a charity project
in Blantyre during his stay. Preferred frequencies:

The Grupo Portugues DX (GPDX) celebrates their 20th anniversary
with the call CS5DX from May 24 to June 15 (including the Portugal

Members of the URD-club in San Sebastian (EA2URD) draw attention to
the Olatutalka Festival in Donostia-San Sebastian with the call

Radio amateurs from the Departement Haut-Rhin (68) commemorate a
World War I battle between France and Germany over the 956m high
summit Hartmannswillerkopf with the call TM68VA. QRV from the
summit on 80, 40, and 20m in CW, SSB, and RTTY on the following

July: 26, 27 August: 10, 16, 24, 30

I, Italy:
Simone, IV3NVN, joins the contest as IY9A from Pantelleria (AF-018,
IIA TP-001, MIA MI-124, WLOTA 0041) on 40m. The call commemorates
the 140th birthday of Marconi. QRV before and after the contest as

Vaclav, OK6RA, plans to get on the air during the contest on 20m as
IT9/OL9R from Sicily. QRV before the weekend as IT9/OK6RA/p. QSL

JA, Japan:
8J4HKR draws attention to the repeated granting of city rights to
Hikari in 1943, 1965, and 2004. QRV until March 31 in 2015.

JW, Svalbard:
Nathaniel, W2NAF, and Ethan, K8GU, will get on the air from
Spitzbergen (EU-026) as JW/homecalls between May 23 and 30
(inlcuding the WPX contest). QRV before and after the weekend
mainly on the WARC bands. QSLs via homecalls, LoTW.

KH9, Wake Island:
Lisa, KJ6GHN, is now active as KH9/KJ6GHN from Wake. She has been
sighted around 0830z on 15m in PSK. How long she remains on the
island is not known so far. QSL route per her instructions on air.

KP2, US Virgin Islands:
Yuriy, N2TTA, returns to the Islands for another contest activity

Bill, NZ5N, Peter, N8PR, John, W4JAM and Mark, WC3W, will get on
the air as N4M and WP2/WC3W from St. Croix between the 21st and

LX, Luxemburg:
The contest station LX7I will host another team effort in the WPX
contest. QSL via LX2A, LoTW.

LX9LARU, the club station of the Luxembourg Amateur Radio Union,
takes part in the LARU Fieldday on May 24. The whole event sets out
to demonstrate and promote emergency communication abilities among
radio amateurs. QSL via direct, LoTW, eQSL.

P4, Aruba:
John, W2GD, returns once more to contest from Aruba (SA-036) as
P44W. QRV before and after the weekend (May 22 to 28) on 160m (on
the hour) and 80m (half hour), and the WARC bands. QSL direct via

P49Y, operated by Andrew (AE6Y), will also take part in the
contest. QSL via h/c, LoTW.

PA, Netherlands:
PA1200PA, operated by Erwin, PA1EZ, Marcel, PD2MZ, Cor, PD1CMP,
Ben, PD2BA, and Gert, PD2GA, celebrates the 1000th anniversary of
the village Poederoijen. QRV from May 17 to June 13. QSLs
automatically via bureau through Global QSL, no direct QSLs pse.

PJ4, Bonaire:
Redd, AI2N, Ken, N2ZN, and Dave, WJ2O, come together at the contest
station on Bonaire (SA-006, PAFF-024, Grid FK52) to work the
contest as PJ4J. QRV from May 21 to 28. QSL via N2ZN, LoTW.

PY, Brazil:
Brazil's national ham club LABRE has negotiated an agreement with
their national authority ANATEL to permit hams visiting the country
for the Football World Championship in June and July: Visitors may
get on the air without CEPT or IARP licenses and regardless of the
existence of reciprocal agreements. The only requirement is to send
the following things to LABRE by email: passport copy, license
copy, planned locations, and time period.

LABRE also issues the award Diploma Brasil Terra do Futebol which
is based on contacts with Brazilian special event stations between
June 1 and July 31.

S0, Western Sahara:
Man, S01WS, has recently appeared on 10m between 0430z and 0530z.

SV, Greece:
Anders, SM4KYN, plans to work as SV3/homecall from Kalamata on 4m
and 6m. QRV from May 24 to June 14. QSL via h/c.

Members of the Civil Protection Mikra's Volunteers continue to
operate their special event station J42CPMV until May 26. QSL via
SV2HT, LoTW, eQSL.

UA, Russia:
Sergei, RQ7L, operates as UE109L until May 31, honouring the 109th
birthday of major novelist Michail Scholochow. QSL via RQ7L.

VE, Canada:
The following special event stations are due to take part in the
WPX contest:

VX9MOSKVA commemorates the flight of an Iljushin DB-3 aircraft
from Moscow to Miscou in New Brunswick 75 years ago. QRV from
May 24 to June 22 on all bands and modes. QSL via VE9GFD.

VK9, Norfolk Island:
Fred, VK3DAC, announces his visit to Norfolk (OC-005) from May 20
to 27. QRV as VK9DAC, but he also is there for some bird-watching.
Fred also plans to activate the 314m high Mt. Bates (SOTA
VK9/NO-001). Planned frequencies: 3595, 7105, 14250, 21250, 28450,
and 50150 kHz. QSL via homecall.

XW, Laos:
Champ, E21EIC, operates as XW0YJY during the contest from

ZD8, Ascension Island:
Jim, N6TJ, returns to the island from May 26 to June 3 and operates
as ZD8Z. QSL via AI4U.

VU4K has been approved for DXCC credit.
