SDR is blind to the NOAA satellites?

I'm really confused how this would happen.

I've built a QFH and a horizontal inverted Vee antenna to listen to the NOAA satellites. NOAA 19 just made a pass directly overhead, and the SDR did no even look like it heard anything on 137.1, meanwhile it was a stong enough signal it was breaking through the squelch on my trusty UV-5R. I probably could have recorded the baofeng's audio on my phone and gotten a great picture.

I plugged the inverted V into the baufeng and was able to hear it. The QFH is a hot mess, I'm not worried about it not working.

I double checked all the connections with a multi meter, the pin has a connection to one end of the antenna, and the shielding is connected to the other element of the antenna.

I can pick up local broadcast stations no problem on both antennas.

Any help would be appreciated.
