eHam.net News - On Friday, December 29, the enthusiasts are setting up a special radio station, call sign GB17YOTA -- "Youngsters on the Air" -- to transmit to the world from the village hall. Martyn Vincent of Telford and District Amateur Radio Society said: "We want to welcome younger people to the venue to share in the action, as well as getting 'hands on' with other aspects of the hobby.
