eHam.net News – Your reader’s letter (April 8) claimed the neighbour’s ham radio aerial affects his wi-fi. This is highly unlikely. The Radio Society of Great Britain (RSGB) suggests that neighbours work together: the operator keeps a record of when he is transmitting, the reader of when he is having wi-fi problems. This will identify whether it is the transmitter at fault or (as is more common) the modem.
