eHam.net News – SUNSPOT activity across the sun is coming to a grinding halt as the burning star approaches its solar minimum cycle, scientists have spectacularly revealed. Roughly every 11 years or so, the sun reaches its so-called solar minimum, or period of relative calm across its surface. The solar minimum is a normal part of the star’s cycle when dark sunspots fade away and become less active.
