Alex, W1CDC, plans to work holiday-style from October 13 till
November 1 as 8R1A. QRV on 80-10m with a focus on 80, 30, 17, 12,

9L, Sierra Leone:
Jerry, K4ZIN, and William, N4WDT, will team up and work as 9L1JT
from the 15th to the 22nd. QSL via N4WDT (d).

A5, Bhutan:
Junichi, JH3AEF, Ryo, JH7EQW, and Jusei, JA3IVU, plan to put Buthan
on the air from the 10th to the 20th as A52AEF, A52EQW, and A52IVU
on 160-10m in CW, SSB, and digital modes. QSLs via h/cs.

C8, Mozambique:
An international team consisting of Bill, N4NX, Ken, JN1THL, Rob,
K6RB, Kevin, K6TD, Wey, K8EAB, Don, N1DG, Tom, N4XP, Ray, N9JA,
Charlie, NF4A, Neil, VA7DX, Rusty, W6OAT, Tad, WF4W, Tjerk, ZS6P,
and Chris, ZS6RI, plan to activate Mozambique from the 15th to the
22nd as C82DX. QRV on 160-6m in CW, SSB, and RTTY, with a focus on

Joao, CT2HPM, continues to operate as D2CT from Luanda until the
15th of November. QRV mostly in PSK31 and RTTY on 20, 17, 15, 12,

DL, Germany:
Look for DN1STV on the 12th (from 07z to 11z). The training station
is operated by pupils of a technical school under the direction of

E5/s, South Cook:
Fabio, IZ0YIV, plans to activate Rarotonga Island (OC-013) from the
9th to the 13th and Aitutaki Island (OC-083) from the 13th to the
17th as E51YIV. QRV in SSB and digital modes with 100W and a l/4
vertical. QSL via h/c.

Bill, N7OU, also announces an operation from Rarotonga Island
(OC-013). He wants to get on the air from the 14th of October till
the 9th of November during his free time while working for "Global
Volunteer Work". QRV in CW with 100W and vertical antenna on

GW, Wales:
The Rhymney Valley Amateur Radio Club will operate the special
event station GB6SPD (WAB ST18) during October to honour the memory
of the victims involved in Welsh mining accidents during the last

8J6BAL continues to operate in the context of the Saga International

The U.S. Government Shutdown has put the dxpedition to Wake (K9W)
on hold. New dates may hopefully be announced soon. FCC does not

The national Lithuanian ham radio organisation Lietuvos Radijo
Megeju Draugija (LRMD) celebrates its 75th anniversary with the

TA, Turkey:
The TC Special Wireless Activity Team" (TCSWAT) celebrates the 90th
anniversary of the Turkish Republic on the air with the call TC90TC
on all HF bands and modes. QRV from October 14 to 31, including the

UA, Russia:
The special event station R100MFF calls attention the the 100th
birthday of the legendary radio operator Michail Fjodorowitsch
Feofanov (UA4AA, U4AA) from Stalingrad (Volgograd). QRV from

UR, Uraine:
A large team consisting of Sergey, UT5NB, Valery, UT7NP, Vladimir,
UR5NBC, Anton, US5NAR, Maria, US5NMM, Alexander, US5NDJ, Alex,
US5NMC, Alex, UR5NQA, and other will operate the special event
station EN50N for the 50th anniversary of the building of the
Vinnitsa's TV tower. QRV on all bands and modes, for QSL info ask

VE, Canada:
Canadian stations from the VY region are permitted to use the
prefix CZ from October 14 to 30.

VK9L, Lord Howe Island:
Fred, VK3DAC, plans to operate as VK9DAC from Lord Howe from the
