Members of the Black Mamba Contest and DXpedition Team are going to
put Malawi on the air in two stages between March 11 and April 1 as
7QAA. The first team, to be active until the 21st on CW and RTTY,
consists of Neil/VA7DX, Roger/ZS6DJ, Keith/VE7KW, Emil/DL8JJ,
Don/VE7DS, John/GW4SKA, and Axel/DL6KVA; the second team, active
from the 22nd until the 1st on SSB and RTTY is made up of
John/GW4SKA, Sam/ZS6BRZ, Dick/K9APW, Chris/G8APB, Marco/HB9OCR, and
Alex/DD5ZZ. The group will also participate in the CQ WPX SSB
Contest. The DXpedition is dedicated to Frosty/K5LBU, who became a

The announced expedition to Eritrea is now on the air since the 6th
as E30FB (not E3A). The team currently has difficulties with their
internet connection and uploads to ClubLog cannot be made as often

Silent Key:
Louis van de Nadort, PA0LOU, died on Feb. 28. Lou was Chairman of
the Executive Committee of IARU Region 1 for 27 years, until he
retired in 2002. He was well known as a keen DXer and contester for
over 50 years.

Niue - DXPedition:
A group of British amateurs, most of them part of th TX6G
expedition of 2014, plan to activate Niue for two weeks during the
second half of September. At the moment the team consists of G3BJ,
