Your Week In Amateur Radio / New Licensees [11/30/2016]

It’s Wednesday, what happened this week?

This thread is also used for those who just passed their tests to introduce themselves. Welcome to the hobby!

The waiting is the worst part!

So after lots of reading, and lots of suggestions from other operators (both here and on my 2m nets) I bought an HF rig…kinda.

I bought the BITX40 board from http://hfsigs.com and ordered a DDS VFO from QRP-kits (the recommended DDS module)

Now just waiting for it to ship and get here. In the meantime, I’ll be building a 40m folded dipole and getting ready.

Almost back on HF!
