Monticello Media has tapped Ralph Salierno to serve as vice president and general manager of the company’s five Charlottesville, Va., stations. Additionally, Wanda Birckhead has been promoted to director of sales.

Salierno has worked in several markets including Virginia Beach, Va.; Oklahoma City; Memphis, Tenn.; and most recently, Fredericksburg, Va.

Monticello Media is owned by George Reed. Its Charlottesville radio stations are comprised of WCHV(FM), WYCK(FM), WHTE(FM), WKAV(FM) and WZGN(FM).
