EL86ur), Lee county, Florida, on 9th February. They will also activate the Boca Grande Lighthouse (ARLHS USA-910, WLOTA 3252) during park open hours (1300 to 2300 UTC). 15/02/2015:  Robert, DK2RO plans activity from the island of Spiekeroog (EU-047, DID/GIA N-08), Lower Saxony state, district of Wittmund, Germany, from 15-20th February. QRV on 40-10 metres using IC-7200 100w Homemade Dipole and Symmetrical tuner. The island is part of the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site by the UNESCO and the Wittbülten National Park. 21/02/2015:  All the members of the J6DX Group are busily preparing for the 2015 edition J64SLI/36 St. Lucia (NA-108, WLOTA 1336) Independence Special Event! The /36 denotes St. Lucia 36 years of Independence. This will be their second year. The event begins on UTC Saturday 21 February 2015 thru UTC Monday 23 February 2015. They will be running QRP @ 5 Watts, using Buddipoles in a variety of configurations, all directly on the beach. Modes will be CW, SSB, PSK-31 and RTTY. Their base location will be Villa Kinnoull, Cap Estate. The "town" is the Rodney Bay tourist area, with the capital city, Castries, behind the mountains (WW Loc. FK94MC). 06/02/2015:  For the second year in a row the amateur society VERON, branch Nijmegen, will activate the special event station PA70OV between 6-8th February, 2015. Activity is to commemorate Operation Veritable, the successor of Operation Market Garden. Operation Veritable is not known very well to most people. It was the battle which formed the prelude to the leap across the Rhine after which the eventual defeat of Germany soon followed. They would like us to commemorate and celebrate 70 years of freedom in the Gennep-Nijmegen region.
