This weekend: Seanet contest

During the first weekend of June, we’ll find the Seanet contest on the air, taking place between Saturday 12:00 UTC and Sunday 12:00 UTC on CW and phone (by the way, Seanet stands for South East Asia Amateur Radio Network). This year, the contest is managed by Cambodia and the manager is Ken KH6QJ.

The bands are 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 meters. It is suggested that activity should be centered around the following frequencies when possible, making it easier to find SEANET Stations:

CW: 3525, 7025, 14025, 21025, 28025.

SSB: 3540 (for Thailand), 3790, 7090, 14320, 21320, 28320.

Categories: single operator LP or HP, multi-operator LP or HP, CW, phone or mixed.

Valid DXCC entities that you can work in this contest are: 4S, 4W, 8Q, 9M/DX0 (Spratly), 9M2, 9M6/8, 9N, 9V, A5, BS7, BV, BV9P,BY, DU, H4, HL/DS, HS/E2, JA, JD1/M, JD1/O, KH0, KH2, P2, P5, S2, T8, V6, V8, VK, VK9C, VK9X, VR2, VU, VU4, VU7, XU, XV/3W, XW, XX9, XY, YB, i.e., all entities in CQ zones 22, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 and 29, including the sectors which may lie in other zones.

The Dutch Kingdom Contest (DKC) will be taking place between Saturday, 1500 UTC and Sunday, 1500 UTC on the bands from 40 to 6 meters in CW and SSB. Low power limit is 200 W.

Score / multipliers
In the mixed classes, each station may be worked both in CW and Phone.

A. Each QSO with a new station per band or mode scores 1 point

B. Each QSO with a Dutch Kingdom DXCC scores five QSO points, Dutch Expats radioamateurs here also count for 5 points

C. Each QSO with a portable station within the Dutch Kingdom scores 10 QSO points per band and/or mode

D Each new DXCC is a multiplier of 5 points per band and/or mode. Every Dutch Kingdom DXCC (PA, P4, PJ2, PJ4, PJ5, PJ6 and PJ7) is a multiplier of 10 points per band and/or mode. Every European Dutch country identifier, PA, PB, PC, PD, PE, PF, PG, PH and PI is a multiplier of 10 points.
