This week’s bulletin was made possible with information provided by

MAURITIUS, 3B8. Hans, PA3HGT plans to be QRV as 3B8/PA3HGT from
September 4 to 24 while on vacation here. Activity will be holiday
style on 40, 20 and 10 meters using mostly SSB with a little CW and
digital modes. QSL to home call.
BHUTAN, A5. Zorro, JH1AJT and Champ, E21EIC will be QRV as A5A from
September 4 to 14. The main purpose of this trip is to meet with
Foreign Ministry officials to discuss progress on a youth
development project. Activity will be on 40 to 10 meters using CW,
SSB and FT8. QSL via JH1AJT.
CHILE, CE. Members of the Discolo DX Group will be QRV as XR208A,
XR208B, XR208C and XR208D during September to celebrate the 208th
anniversary of the first government of Chile as an autonomous
republic. Activity will be on the HF bands using on SSB, PSK31 and
FT8. QSL via bureau.
PHILIPPINES, DU. Jin, DU1IST will be QRV as DU1IST/9 from Tawi Tawi
Island, IOTA OC-174, from September 1 to 4. Activity will be on 80
to 6 meters. QSL via JA1HGY.
KYRGYZSTAN, EX. Special event stations EX3NOMAD and EX3WNG are QRV
until September 15 during the third World Games of Nomads taking
place in Cholpon-Ata. QSL via EX7DI.
FRANCE, F. Philippe, F5PTA will be QRV as TM70ONU from Lyon from
September 1 to December 27 to mark the 70 years of the UN General
Assembly’s adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on
December 10, 1948. QSL via eQSL.
GUADELOUPE, FG. Laci, HA0NAR is QRV as FG/HG0R until September 7.
Activity is on 160 to 6 meters using CW, SSB and RTTY. QSL to home
call.
REUNION ISLAND. Patrick, FR5FC, is QRV from Saint Leu. Activity is
mainly on 40 to 15 meters using SSB and FT8. His length of stay is
unknown. QSL via EA7FTR.
THAILAND, HS. Champ, E21EIC will be QRV as E2A as a Single Op/All
Band entry in the All Asian DX Phone contest. QSL to home call.
GUAM, KH2. Operator JR1VAY is QRV as AH2J until September 3. This
includes being entries in the All Asian DX Phone and Russian World
Wide RTTY contests. QSL to home call.
BULGARIA, LZ. Members of the Bulgarian Radio Club Blagovestnik will
be QRV as LZ920MLC during September for their annual All Saints
award. QSL via bureau.
PERU, OA. Arno, DL1CW is QRV as OA7/DL1CW in Urubamba until
September 5. Activity is holiday style on 40 to 10 meters. QSL to
home call.
ALAND ISLANDS, OH0. Ray, DL1ZBO, Volkmar, DL2VU and Peter, DL5FF
are QRV as OH0JWL until September 7. This includes being an entry
in the Russian World Wide RTTY contest. QSL via DL5FF.
SLOVAK REPUBLIC, OM. Members of the Radioklub KAPA are QRV with
event call sign OM80PAR until the end of 2018 to celebrate the 80th
anniversary of the city of Partizanske. QSL via OM3PA.
CRETE, SV9. Operators DE3BWR and DD0VR will be QRV as SV9/DD0VR
from September 1 to 10 while touring the Cyclades Islands. Activity
will be on the HF bands using CW and SSB, and with QRP power. QSL
via DD0VR.
PALAU, T8. Nobu, JA0JHQ is QRV as T88PB from Koror Island, IOTA
OC-009, until September 3. Activity is on the HF bands, with a
focus on 30 meters, and using CW. This includes being an entry in
the All Asian DX Phone contest. QSL direct to home call.
TURKEY, TA. Operators Golkem, TA7AZC and Furkan, TA7AOF are QRV as
TC2F until September 4. This includes being an entry in the All
Asian DX Phone contest. QSL via bureau.
THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO. The RSGB SSB Field Day, IARU Region 1
SSB Field Day, All Asian DX Phone Contest, QRP 20-Meter CW Fox Hunt,
NCCC RTTY Sprint, NCCC Sprint CW Ladder, G3ZQS Memorial Straight Key
CW Contest, Russian World Wide RTTY Contest, CWOps CW Open,
Wake-Up. QRP CW Sprint, Colorado QSO Party, AGCW Straight Key
40-Meter CW Party, Alabama QSO Party, PODXS 070 Club Jay Hudak
Memorial 80-Meter PSK31 Sprint, WAB 144 MHz QRO Phone and the
Tennessee QSO Party will certainly keep contesters busy this
upcoming weekend.
The MI QRP Labor Day CW Sprint is scheduled for September 3. The
ARS Spartan CW Sprint is scheduled for September 4. The CWops
Mini-CWT CW Test and Phone Fray are scheduled for September 5.
The ARRL International Grid Chase runs during all of 2018.
