GD DXpedition

Three members of the Macclesfield & District Amateur Radio Society will be QRV from the Isle of Man from 20th to 26th July 2013.

Tom M(D)1EYP/P, Jimmy M(D)0HGY/P and Edward 2(D)0NSR/P will be primarily active from the summits of the five Manx hills that qualify for the Summits on the Air - SOTA programme.

Specific details about the intended schedule, and updates, may be seen on the SOTAwatch Alerts page: http://mt9173.sota.org.uk/swmt/alerts.php

Between the three ops, it is expected that five bands will be used - 40m, 20m, 12m, 6m and 2m, and four modes will be used - SSB, CW, FM and PSK31.

If the weather carries on in the same style, then some beach time may replace some radio time later in the week!
