A BUSY MONTH —> March was quite a busy month  for  DXers!  Here  are  some

S21ZEE   19-26 March   20862    5142    3946   29950   11333
As for OQRS, Clublog is used by S21ZED, S21ZEE and TU7C; 9G5X (QSL cards are
being  distributed) and  9N7EI (QSL cards  are being printed) go via M0OXO’s
system (http://ift.tt/2gqy0pI); 5U5R has its  own OQRS for
direct cards on http://ift.tt/2oqhB5v.

A35JP/P —> Masa, JA0RQV logged about 1,600 QSOs during his recent  A35JP/p
operation  from  Niuafo’ou Island (OC-123).  Activity started on 23 March at
07.01 UTC, and ended on 28 March  at 10.19 UTC.  A few pictures can be found
at http://ift.tt/1Rx1AW8. He had to handwrite  the log, and in  the next
coming days he will convert the QSOs to an electronic format and then upload
them to Club Log and LoTW “as soon as possible”. He is aware that “there are
still many stations who need OC-123”, and plans to return there in 2019.

CLUB LOG’S MOST WANTED LIST —> The latest Most Wanted List,  generated  on
31 March, is  available  at  http://ift.tt/1ZStuxH.  The
information is derived  from  QSOs  uploaded  to  Club  Log  (currently  419
million log entries available for analysis) and, to  improve  quality,  only
QSOs that have QSLs confirmed are  considered to be worked.  The most wanted
charts are rebuilt once per month, on average.

POSTAL RATES (UK) —> Postal rates in the  United  Kingdom  changed  on  27
March. The new rates for standard airmail letters are as follows:
Europe   Rest of the world
up to 10 grams  GBP 1.17 GBP 1.17
up to 20 grams  GBP 1.17 GBP 1.40
“International Economy” (only for  destinations outside Europe) is  GBP 1.02
up to 20 grams.  A Price Finder on-line  tool  is  provided  by  Royal  Mail
(http://ift.tt/wSJzcu).

T31: OPERATORS WANTED —> John Mitton, KK7L is  “looking for a few  skilled
HF operators to join me on a cruise  to  Central Kiribati (T31) for  a  full
week  on  Nikumaroro Island (OC-043).  The cruise departs Nadi, Fiji on June
24 – returning to Nadi on July 12th with one-day stops at Rotuma  and Futuna
on the way out and back.  The ship will be at Nikumaroro  for eight days, so
with setup  and  takedown we  will be six, maybe  seven days QRV at T31.  We
would   sail  on  the “Reef Endeavour”  from  Fiji  along  with  the  TIGHAR
organization which has been searching  to learn where Amelia  Earhart  might
have met her demise”.  See  http://ift.tt/2oqhtDd
for more information.

WRTC 2018 —> The  Organizing  Committee  of   the  World  Radiosport  Team
Championship (WRTC) 2018 in Germany has opened the  application process  for
qualified  individuals  who would like to  serve  as referees.  The  primary
responsibility of the referee is to monitor the competitors to  confirm that
they are following all of the WRTC rules. The selection process is being led
by  Ulf Ehrlich (DL5AXX), who  says  that  “with  the  rules  allowing  both
operators to transmit simultaneously, the role for each  referee  is  really
challenging”. The deadline for submitting  applications is  31 October 2017.
See  http://ift.tt/2mWp7bv   for
the application form.
