They plan to run three stations on 160-10 metre SSB, CW and RTTY. QSL C6AGH

20/01/2013: Look for Dennis, WA2USA to be active as WA2USA/4 from St.
George
island (NA-085, USi FL0076S), Franklin county, Florida, between 20 January
and
27 February 2013. He also plans to operate from the lighthouse (ARLHS
USA-1057,
WLOTA 3178) while he is on the island. QRV mostly CW on 30, 20 and 15
metres.
Some SSB on 40 and 20 metres. All bands in ARRL International DX CW
Contest
(16-17 February) and the NAQP RTTY Contest (23-24 February). QSL via home

21/01/2013: Pierre, F8APV and Stephane, F8EOI will be returning to
Reunion

and FR/F8EOI between 21 January and 8 February 2013. They will be active on
40
metres and up with a Buddipole antenna system (longer than standard
with
telescopic long whip). Special attention on 30 metre CW and 20 metre
SSB.

21/01/2013: Eddy, ON4AFU, will be active as HS0ZJF/8 from Koh Samui
(AS-101,
WLOTA 1384) between 21 January and 18 February and as HS0ZJF/9 from Koh

(AS-126) between 20 February and 2 March 2013. He will operate CW only on
40-10

22/01/2013: "The Daily DX" Editor, Bernie McClenny (W3UR) and his father
Tony
(N3ME) will be active holiday style from Saint Andrew Parish, island of
Dominica
(NA-101) in late January-early February 2013. Bernie will operate as J77A
(22
January-1 February) and Tony will operate as J76A (22 January-11 February);
both
will be QRV in their spare time on 160-6 metre CW, SSB and RTTY, using K3s
and
wire antennas. Tony plans to operate in the CQ WPX RTTY Contest (9-10
February).
The special prefixes are in celebration of the beginning of their Amateur
Radio

23/01/2013: Raf ON5RZ, Jean ON4JW and Dirk ON7DS will be active from the
'Far
North' in Ragunda, Sweden, at the King Chulalongkorn Memorial ARC station

Contest

24/01/2013: A team of 12 operators from the Bahia Blanca DX Group (LU6EVD)
plan
to be active as L22D from Isla Gama (SA-022), Buenos Aires province, from
24-27
January 2013. They will use three modes (SSB - CW - PSK31) on all
possible
bands, including WARC 12m and 17m. The team leader will be Osmar, LU8DWR,
along
with Carlos, LU7DSY, and multiple operators that have not yet been
mentioned.

LOOKING AHEAD -
01/02/2013: Sean, KX9X, is going to be at the ARRL SC State convention.
During
his trip he will attempt to validate Dewees Island (NA-110, USi SC042, WW
Loc.
FM02DU), Charleston county, South Carolina, for the U.S. islands award
program.
The plan is to activate the island on 1 February 2013 (1500 - 2000z)
running QRP
with his Yaesu 817 on both CW and SSB. Sean will be close to salt water,
so
chances are good that he will be reasonably loud. QSL via his home call.

08/03/2013: Mike W1USN (RNARS #3889), Bob AA1M and Scott W1SSR will be

as PJ2/homecall from the island of Curacao (SA-099, WLOTA 0942) between
8-22
March 2013. Plans are to be QRV on all bands 160m to 10m SSB, CW, PSK and
RTTY.
Depending on Internet access, the logs will be updated at least daily to
LoTW.

26/03/2013: Helmut, DF7ZS, will once again be active from the P49V QTH
(Cook's
Radio Retreat), Oranjestad, island of Aruba (SA-036, WLOTA 0033, WW Loc.

between 26 March and 3 April 2013. QRV on the WARC bands as P4/DF7ZS is
planned.
The main focus of his trip is a Single-Op entry in the CQWW WPX SSB
Contest

27/03/2013: Chris, GM3WOJ/ZL1CT and Keith, GM4YXI will be active as
VK9C/GM2MP
from the Cocos-Keeling Islands (OC-003) between 30 March and 13 April 2013.

a

10/05/2013: A large group of Westnet DX Group members will be active as
EJ7NET
from the Aran Islands (EU-006) from 10-15 May 2013. Team members include

PW7F
between 18-20 January 2013. Activity is to celebrate the 413th anniversary

"Fortaleza dos Reis Magos" or also known as "Forte dos Reis Magos", located
in
the city of Natal, state of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. See QRZ.com for

modes.

The team is now complete with the last op's coming of Jean-Louis, F5NHJ
and
David, EI9FBB.
Frank/F4AJQ is the team leader of the Back Office, in France; unfortunately
he
can't go to 5X.
Seb/F5UFX, and Alain/F6ENO will be the team leaders of the Dxpedition in
5X.
By modes, the leaders are: CW = Bernard/F9IE, SSB = Flo/F5CWU, RTTY=
Jean-Paul/F8BJI.
The crew consists of:

On January 15th, after one full month of voting, the "DXpedition of the
Year
2012" survey closed. Thank you to everyone who participated.
We are proud to announce that HK0NA - Malpelo has won the DX World -
DXpedition
of the Year 2012 poll. True recognition and hearty congratulations to
all
involved in that fantastic expedition.
Acknowledgement must also be made to 7O6T - Yemen who came runner-up. It
was
duly noted, at one point, this DXpedition was top of the leader board as
votes
