IOTA News from OPDX

Island activities:

AS-006. Kazuhiko, VR2KF, will be on during the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 27-28th) from his home QTH on Ma Wan Island. This is a good time to work him because he is leaving Ma Wan early
2014. He is the only station on Ma Wan. Kazuhiko's plan is only to be active on 20-10 meters. QSL only direct to QRZ.com address.

AS-043. Operators Suehiro/JI1PLF, Mitsuo/JA1UNS,Hisashi/7N1GMK,
Takeo/7L4PVR and Kazuhiko/7N4VPS will be active as homecall/1 from Hachijo Island in the JA1 South Izu Group, between October 18-21st. Activity will be on 160-6 meters using CW, SSB and RTTY. QSL via their home callsigns, direct or by the Bureau.

AS-120. Operators Stavros/5B4AFM and Philip/5B4ZN will be active as
homecall/p from Agios Georgios Island between 1600z, June 22nd and 0600z, June 23rd. Activity will be on 40/30/20 meters using mostly CW and with a focus on North America. QSL via their home callsigns, by the Bureau or direct.

EU-043. Bernd, DL8AAV, will once again be active as SD1B/6 from Orust
Island between June 17-29th. Activity will be holiday style on, or near the usual island and IOTA frequencies. QSL via DL8AAV, direct or by the Bureau.

EU-073. Members of the Taranto ARMI section and the 599 DX Team will
once again be active as IJ7T from San Pietro Isle (IIA TA-002) between July 26-28th. Activity will be on the HF bands, 6 and 2 meters using CW, SSB and the Digital modes. They will participate in the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 27-28th). QSL via IK7WDS, direct or by the Bureau. QSL cards can also be requested via the OQRS on ClubLog. EU-101. Operators Thomas/SM3DMP and Jan/SM3CER will be active as
OH/SM3DMP and OH/SF3A, respectively, from Bjorkon Island (WW Loc. KP02) between June 16-19th. Activity will be on 30/20/17 meters, mainly CW (split 1-3 up). QSL OH/SM3DMP via his home callsign, and QSL OH/SF3A via SM3CER, by the Bureau or direct.

EU-123. Operators Doug/GM0ELP and Simon/M0GBK to be active as MM3T from the Isle of Bute (IOSA CL02, SCOTIA CS19, WLOTA 1883)
during the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 27-28th) as a Multi-Op/All-Band/ Low-Power/Mixed/DXpedition entry. QSL via eQSL only.

EU-141. Hans, LA2MOA, will be active from Vardo Island in the Finnmark
County East Group during the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 27-28th) as a Single-Op/CW-Mode/Island-DXpedition entry. QSL via his home callsign, direct, by the Bureau, eQSL or LoTW.

NA-035. By the time you read this, Dan, HM2DMR, should be active as
HQ8S from the Honduran Island of SWAN. Activity could last until June 25th, depending on the Honduran Navy schedule. It is suggested to "Keep an eye on the clusters". Look for CW to start then followed by SSB. There will be no InterNet on the island, so please help Dan relay any info he may have. Activity will be on 160-10 meters. ADDED NOTE: Next is NA-223 Vivorillos (callsign HQ8D); July 16-20th.

NA-213. Operators Allan/KV4T, Steve/KI4GGJ, John/AJ4T, Gaston/W4CCF
and Nicholas/KJ4AVG will once again be active as homecall/p from Dauphin Island (USI AL002S, Mobile County, AL) between June 19-24th. Activity will be on the HF bands using CW and SSB. QSL via the operator's home callsign.

OC-129. Tim, KC5DCT, will be active as DU6/KC5DCT from Lakawon Island on June 22nd. Activity will be QRP on the HF bands with a Elecraft KX3 using CW and SSB [until batteries go dead]. QSL via his home callsign.
