Christian, DL2MDU, and his YL Heike, DO3HDA, will operate as 8Q7CF
from the 15th till the 27th from the Biyadhoo Island Resort. QRV on
80-10m (maybe also 160) with 100W in CW (Christian) and SSB and
digital modes (Heike). QSL via DL2MDU.

A3, Tonga:
Adam, E6ST, is now in Tonga and waits for his license. The duration
of his stay is unknown.

CE, Chile:
Members of the Chilean Pacific DX Group will celebrate the 203th
Chilean day of Independence on the air with XR203CHI. QRV on all HF
bands in SSB and digital modes. QSL via XQ7UP, LoTw, eQSL.

CT, Portugal:
The Portugese Navy Hamradio Club celebrates the founding of the
Museu de Marinha 150 years ago with operating CR150NM until the
14th. QRV on HF (except 30m) in CW, SSB, and maybe PSK. QSL via

EA, Spain:
Special event stations with prefixes EG1-9 and EH1-9 and the suffix
SDC (Santina de Covadonga) continue to be active until the 15th
from Asturia. QSL via EA1AUM, eQSL.

F, France:
The radio club form Arcachon (F5KAY) will activate the Phare du Cap
Ferret on the 14th and 15th. QRV as TM49PB with 2 stations on 160,
80, 40, 20, 15, and 10m in SSB, CW, and digital modes. QSL via
F8IHE, LotW.

The special event station TM70MBH continues to commemorate a battle
beween the Maquis group of Bir Hakeim and the occupational forces
on the 10th of September 1943. QRV until September 18 with the
operators F4CZH, F4GFX, F4UMJ, F5ADR, F5AYZ, and F6HZS. QSL via
bureau.

G, England, GI, Northern Ireland, GM, Scotland, GW, Wales:
The annual Churches and Chapels on the Air (CHOTA) event will be
held on the 14th with the purpose to establish radio contacts
between churches in Great Britain to further Christian friendship
and worldwide companionship.

G, England:
GB5FY commemorates the golden jubilee of the the Royal Air Force
Fylingdales and remembers the 5131 Bomb Disposal Squadron. QRV from
the 17th on for two weeks. QSL via M1EDF.

G, England:
GB1BBF will get on the air on the 14th and 15th for the Black
Country Boating Festival. QSL via MX0PPC.

G, England:
GB1SCW will operate from the Shoreham National Coast Watch
Institution Station on the 14th and 15th, calling attention to the
Coastal Watch on the Air event. This is a joint effort with the
Worthing and District Amateur Radio Club. QRV on 160-4m. QSL via

HB0, Liechtenstein:
Jo, DF5AU, wants to operate between the 14th and the 19th as
HB0/DF5AU from nr. Triesenberg, 1250m asl. QRV on HF in CW and SSB,
focus on the higher bands with a Spider Beam and up to 1KW. QSL via
h/c, LoTW.

I, Italy:
The Associazione Radioamatori Marinai Italiani continues to operate
II0IGZF until the 22nd on all bands and modes. The sufix refers to
the ferry Tarantula that was used to transport soldiers and
civilians from the Taranto to the islands. QSL via IZ0FVD.

HK, Colombia:
24 operators will team up on the 15th to operate 5K3RF for 24h and
pay homage to all deceased hams. QSL via EA3DUF, direct only.

ON, Belgium:
About two million passengers migrated to New York and the United
States via Antwerp. On the 28th the Red Star shipping company opens
their museum. The Radio Club North will operate OQ2MRS to keep the
memory of this history alive. QSL via ON4RCN.

P2, Papua New Guinea:
P29VNX, announces in last week's DXNL, had to be cancelled due to
flight problems.

PA, Netherlands:
The wind mill de Hoop (nr. Appel) went operational 125 years ago.
PA125DHP (op Frans, PC2F) operates from there on the 14th during a
nationwide open day of monuments. QSL via PC2F, eQSL.

PA, Netherlands:
The International Police Association in the Netherlands (PI4IPA)
looks back on 60 years of history. PA60IPA celebrates on the air
until October 1, and again from October 30 till November 26. QRV on
HF to UHF in all modes. QSL via PA9LUC, for direct cards no IRCs

S2, Bangladesh:
Yuki, JH1NBN, hopes to get on the air September 19 - 23rd during
the evening / night hourse as S21ZBA - permitting he receives a

SP, Poland:
The following stations are going to operate from the 16th to the
26th to welcome the autumn season (Witamy Jesien): 3Z1JESIEN

SP, Poland:
The local club Klubu Krotkofalowcow im. Ziemi Nyskiej (SP6PNZ)
celebrates the 790th anniversary of the town Nysa from September
until November with the call HF790NYSA. QSL via SP6PNZ.

SP, Poland:
SN0HOKA operates in the context of having a Scout group in
Ostroleka since 1913. QRV from September until October, QSL via

SP, Poland:
HF17TRD joins the 17th International Knights Torunament "O zloty
warkocz Tarlowny" (WCA SP-00758) during the whole Septembr. QSL via

SV, Greece:
SV130PAP commemorates the 130th birthday of the scientist George N.
Papanicolaou. QRV until September 21 from several locations on
160-2m in CW, SSB, PSK, RTTY, JT65, FSK441, and MS.

T10, Transnistria:
Vladimir, UA4WHX, has been on the air since the end of August as
T10VB from Transnistria. Transnistria is a region between Moldavia
and the Ukraine which considers itself independent since 1990. It
is not a DXCC entity and the prefix T1 has not been assigned by the
ITU. Vlad is QRV on 80, 40, 20, 17, and 15m mainly in CW with some

UT, Ukraine:
EM150KV honours the memory of the scientist Volodymyr Ivanovych
Vernaskyy, after whom the library in Kiev and the Ukrainian base in
Antarctica are named. There is also an award available. QSL via
UT1KY.

VP9, Bermuda:
Christoph, DL1YAF, will show up holiday-style on the bands until
the 25th as VP9/DL1YAF. QRV in CW, SSB, and PSK31. QSL via h/c (B).

Z8, South Sudan:
Within a few weeks from now there will be a formal announcement of
a low-band operation / expedition from Z8 under the auspices of
Project Goodwill South Sudan together with Yaesu, IARU Region 1,
and the Yasme-Foundation. Right now the multi-national team is busy
with shipping their gear. Robert, S53R, is in Juba right now on a
work assignment and will be QRV as Z81R from September 10 till 14.

ZD7, St. Helena Island:
David, ZD7DC, is a young operator (16 years) who got on the air in
August. He works with 100W rig and a G5RV. QRV mostly on 20, 17,
15, 12, and 10m in SSB between 1430z and 0000z.

Silent Key:
On August 31 Steve Hodgson, ZC4LI (also 5B4AHA, C4C, G0LII, G6G,
and ZD8LII), passed away. Steve was an avid contester and will be
missed by many as a rare multiplier.

Vitaly V. Davydov, RU9WR, ex UW9WR, Aleksandr M. Shiryaev, UA9XCM,
and Anatolij G. Udod, UT0TT.

Our thoughts are with their families and friends. We are sorry for
