Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2017 Jun 19 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low with a few B-class flares observed from Region 2663 (N13W48, Dso/beta). Slight decay was observed in Region 2663 while umbral separation was observed in Region 2662 (N12W05, Hsx/alpha). No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low with a slight chance for C-class flares over the next three days (19-21 Jun).

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at moderate to high levels with a peak flux of 1,360 pfu observed at 19/1155 UTC. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background levels.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at moderate to high levels all three days of the period (19-21 Jun). The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to persist at background levels throughout the forecast period.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters indicated the continued presence of a negative polarity CH HSS. Solar wind speed decreased from approximately 610 km/s to near 520 km/s. Total field was steady around 5 nT while the Bz component was between +/-4 nT. Phi angle was oriented in a mostly negative (towards) sector.

Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to show a gradual return to nominal levels on day one (19 Jun) as CH HSS effects wane. A mostly nominal solar wind environment is expected to dominate for both days two and three (20-21 Jun).

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was at quiet to unsettled levels due to persistent CH HSS effects.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at quiet to unsettled levels through the rest of the UTC day on day one (19 Jun) as CH HSS effects slowly diminish. Mostly quiet conditions are expected on days two and three (20-21 Jun).
