Time for another State QSO Party run in the mobile. The Arkansas QSO Party is this weekend. A 12 hour test of man and machine in the Ozark Mountains. Starting Saturday morning at 9AM CDT and ending at 9PM CDT.
I have the pleasure of having Mark Mills KI0I travel with me for this one. Like myself, a country boy from Texas, Mark is a good ol country boy from Missouri. We plan to have maximum fun running though the hills ducking deer and other four legged varmits. We have mapped out an Arkansas county run numbering 21 listed as follows: Benton, Washington, Madison, Carroll, Boone, Newton, Searcy, Marion, Stone, Independence, Jackson, Poinsett, Crittengen, Cross, Woodruff, White, Faulkner, Conway, Pope, Johnson and Franklin.
Look for us on the 41s 7.041, 14.041, 21.041 and (based on todays brief opening) 28.041 - 80 meters late on 3.541. There will be some SSB work as time permits. Again the 41s. 7.241, 14.241, 21.341 and 28.441.
We will be running in that veritable Oklahoma Land Rush Mobile with Hustlers for 10/15/20 and a Tarheel for 40 and 80 meters running upwards of 700 watts. [County Hunter Web]
