Cellular Coverage that Can't Be Beat:

Can you hear me now? It's a phrase we all know only too well. No matter who your cell provider is, there are dead spots and places where calls just drop off. And what if that bad spot is at your house? More and more people are ending their landline service, and just using a cell phone. If you have poor coverage, you're out-of-luck. But, maybe not. The Saturday, July 8 meeting of the Cedar Creek (ham) Amateur Radio Club has a solution. We will hear details of how to put a cell site at your home. Club member Trey Garland has done just that. The cell company doesn't install it. Instead you can put together your own site that just covers your home. Pretty cool!
