Jackie,F8AEJ, is working in holiday style mainly in digital modes
signing 5V7JD from Lome with his FT897D, AT tuner and 6 band Windom

5X, UGANDA
A large multinational team (DF1LON, DJ7JC, DL1YFF, DL8OBF, EI9FBB,
F2DX, F2JD, F2VX, F5CWU, F5EOT, F5NHJ, F5NKX, F5UFX, F5UOW, F5VHQ,
F6ENO, F8BJI, F8IXZ, F9IE, FM5CD, K4SV, ON4LO, ON7RN, RG8K, UA9KGH/1)
will show up as 5X8C with six stations and focus on the lowbands
from Feb 8-18. Pilot stations are F4TTR and V51B. Their QRGs will be:

Vladimir "Vlad",RK4FF, will be QRV as 6V7S from "Le Calao" in Ngaparou
for at least four times this year. He plans to show up from there
from Feb 11-Apr 3, May 13-30, July 1-16 and Oct 22-Nov 27. Activities
will take place in CW/SSB/RTTY on 80/40/20/15/10m. QSL via homecall.

DU, PHILIPPINES, OC-129
Carl,DU6/OE9MON, and his family are spending their holidays on
Panay Island (Visayan Islands, OC-129, Loc PK11bo). He has been
worked in SSB on 20m with 100 watts and a vertical. Carl wants to use
homemade verticals on all bands 160m-6m. QSL via LZ1JZ, LotW and eQSL.

FG, GUADELOUPE, NA-102
Oliver,FG/F6ARC, is working holiday style in CW with focus on 30m/40m
from Guadeloupe (NA-102, DIFO FG-001, WFF FFF-004, WLOTA 0644) until
Feb 14. QSL via FE11DX.

Jean-Pierre,FG/F6ITD, is active on the bands until Mar 25. He stays in
Basse Terre on Guadeloupe (DIFO FG-019, WLOTA 0644) until Feb 15 and
on La Desirade (DIFO FG-004, WLOTA 1121, ARLHS GUA-005, Loc FK96lh)
from Feb 16 until Mar 22. He is using a FT450D, PA, RV7C antenna and
dipoles in SSB/RTTY/PSK/JT65 and some CW on 160m-10m.

HA, HUNGARY
The special event station HG66MALEV remembers the former Hungarian
airline MALEV in CW, SSB and digital modes on 80m-10m until Mar 31.
Last year the airline has terminated its service after 66 years of
civil aviation. QSL via HG4I, unfortunately only direct with SASE.

I, ITALY
The special event station IR7WAP is on the air until Mar 3 on the
occasion of the 10th Antarctic Activity Week (AAW).

J5, GUINEA-BISSAU
The Verona DX Team members Livio,IZ3BUR, Libero,IK3RBE, Enzo,IK3VVD,
Ilario,IZ3STA, and Milena,IK3VZJ, are returning to Cumura to help with
the mission work and will be active as J52HF on SSB on HF and 50 MHz
during their spare time between Feb 10 until Mar 2. QSL via I3LDP.

LX, LUXEMBURG
The LX7I team from Eschdorf will join the WPX RTTY Contest (Feb 9/10)
in the M2 category. QSL via LX2A.
LY, LITHUANIA
The special event station LY16W celebrates the Act of Independence of
Lithuania (Feb 16, 1918) during February. QSL via LY5W.

PA, THE NETHERLANDS
The special event station PF13ANT (WAP-239) will be activated by
Rob,PA0RDY, during the 10th AAW from Feb 11-28.
QSL via homecall, via direct preferred but bureau QSLs are fine also.

XU, CAMBODIA
John,XU7ACQ, will be QRV in SSB, CW and digital modes on 80m-10m
from Feb 10 until Mar 18. QSL via KF0RQ.

AFRICA DXPEDITION: Steve,HA0DU, and Laci,HA0NAR, are planning a DXpedition
to Senegal (6V2R) and Guinea Bissau (J5NAR) in February. Their journey
will start in Cabrousse in the south of Senegal on Feb 9 and will take
them Guinea-Bissau. They will activate also Carabane Island (AF-078) as
6V2R/p and Jeta Island in the Bissagos archipelago (AF-093) as J5NAR/p.
The whole trip is paid by themselves and so they would appreciate any
donations via PayPal (ha0nar[AT]hotmail.com) to reduce the high
logistical costs. QSLs via HA0NAR.

CARIBBEAN/ATLANTIC TRIP: Hilkka,OH1DV (YL), Markku,OH1MV, Pekka,OH1TV,
Rami,OH2BCI, Leena,OH2BE (YL), Martti,OH2BH, Osmo,OH2KH, Heikki,OH4NS,
Seppo,OH6TJ, and Osmo,OH8KN, are on a cruise with the "M/S Kristina
Katarina" working as OJ0H/mm usually on 14267 kHz or in CW. They plan
to meet hams in many of their stopovers in 6Y, P4, PJ4, YV7, J49, FM,
V2 and HI. After that they will continue to the Azores Islands from
where they will join the ARRL CW and SSB Contests as CR2X and CQ8X.

Island activities:
AN-016, several, Antarctica: Oleg,ZS1OIN, will be the new chied of the
Rusisan Bellinghausen Basis (WAP RUS-01, AA U-04, WFF RFF-154) on
King George Island (WLOTA 0312). Starting on Feb 12 he plans to be QRV
as RI1ANU (instead of RI1ANF) mainly in CW. QSL via ZS1OIN (direct).

NA-001, C6, Great Bahama Bank group: Drew,N2RFA, is going to visit the
Bahamas (WLOTA 1115) from Feb 10-21. He will sign C6ABB in PSK31, JT65,
RTTY and SSTV on 80m, 40m, 20m and 17m.
QSL via N2RFA (direct). The log will be uploaded to the LoTW and eQSL.

NA-016, ZF, Cayman Islands: Dave,N4QS, will take part in the upcoming
WPX RTTY Contest as ZF2DP from Grand Cayman Island (WLOTA 1042).
He can use the station of ZF1A from Feb 8-12. Listen for him in SSB
and CW mainly on the WARC bands before and after the contest.
The log will be uploaded to LoTW afterwards and in realtime also to:

NA-024, J3, Grenada: Roy,KE4TG, will be on Grenada (WLOTA 0718, Loc FK92dd)
again for the fifth time from Feb 6 until Mar 8. Listen for J38RF in
JT-65, PSK31 and RTTY on 80m-10m. Depending on the propagation he may
also work on 60m in SSB, CW and digital modes. QSL direct via KE4TG.
The log will be uploaded to the LoTW.

NA-097, 6Y, Jamaica: Yuri,VE3DZ, announced to join the WPX RTTY Contest
as 6Y2T in the SOAB category. QSL via homecall.

NA-100, V2, Antigua and Barbuda: Tom,AA9A, will be QRV in SSB, CW and RTTY
on 160m-10m signing V24A from Antigua (WLOTA 1118) from Feb 11-20.
He plans to take part in the ARRL CW Contest as well. QSL via AA9A.

NA-103, VP2M, Montserrat: Bill,AA4NC, will show up as VP2ME from the island
of Montserrat (WLOTA 1475) from Feb 12-20. He will work in CW, SSB and
RTTY on all bands with emphasis put on the WARC bands and also the
ARRL CW Contest. The log will be uploaded to the LoTW.
QSL only direct via AA4NV.

NA-107, FM, Martinique: Valery,R5GA, can use the station of FM5BH again from
Feb 11-17. He will produce a loud signal from Martinique (DIFO FM-001,
WLOTA 1041, DDFM 97). FM/R5GA will be active mostly in CW on the WARC
bands. He will join the ARRL CW Contest as TO5X. The log will be
uploaded to the LoTW. QSLs for both calls via UA3DX (direct).

OC-026, KH2, Guam Island: The first stop of the Pacific trip of Bob,5B4AGN,
will be Guam (USi GU003S, WFF KFF-110, WLOTA 0064). He will be active
as KH2/G3ZEM from Feb 9-13. His next stop will be Pohnpei (OC-010).

OC-010, V6, Pohnpei Islands: After visiting Guam Bob,5B4AGN, will stay on
Pohnpei from Feb 13-23. He plans to work as V63ZM on 80m-10m.
