Adam,DJ0IF (9H3RX), and Mek,SP7VC (9H3KK), will stay on Gozo (EU-023)
from Feb 13-19. Adam announced to take part in the SOAB category of
the upcoming ARRL DX CW Contest (Feb 16/17). QSLs via homecalls.
9U, BURUNDI
A team from Belgium and the Netherlands will be active as 9U4U from
Bujumbura with four stations in SSB/CW/RTTY on 160m-10m from Feb 14-23.
They will focus on 160m and 80m with one station every night.

CN, MOROCCO
EA5CP, EA5YU and EA9BLJ will join the ARRL CW Contest as M/S signing
5C5T with 100 watts and dipoles. They are working also before and after
the contest from Feb 14-18. QSL via EA5YU.

CO, CUBA
CO2WF, CO6LC, CO8ZZ, N3QQ, R3FA, RA3NAN, RK7A, RW3RN, RZ3EC, RZ3EM and
UA3EDQ are celebrating the 20th jubilee of the "Russian Robinson Club"
with an IOTA trip to Cuban islands:
Feb 11-14 T48RRC Moa Grande Island (NA-218)
Feb 14-16 T47RRC Coco Island (NA-086)
Feb 16-18 T46RRC Santa Maria (NA-204)
They will work with three stations in CW, SSB and digital modes on

The AAW special event station AO1ICE will be QRV in CW/SSB/RTTY/PSK31

The memorial stations EM70LI and EM70LL are activated by members of
the radio club "Izyumsky Shlyakhov" until Oct 1. Further activities
will be carried out from former battlegrounds as EM70LI/p and EM70LL/p.

ES, ESTONIA
Toomas,ES5RY, will sign ES95Q from the QTH of ES6Q in Tartu joining the
ARRL CW Contest as SOAB/LP. The special callsign ES95Q celebrates the

ET, ETHIOPIA
Before going to Juba in South Sudan Ken,K4ZW, plans to join the second
half of the ARRL CW Contest from the clubstation ET3AA in Addis Ababa.
He will show up again as ET3AA also from Feb 22-24.

FM, MARTINIQUE, NA-107
Michael,FM/HB9WDF, is spending his holidays on Martinique until Feb 21
working in PSK-31 and some SSB on HF and via satellite (AO-7, FO-29,

FY, FRENCH GUYANA
FY5KE will take part in the ARRL DX CW Contest in the SO/HP category

G, ENGLAND
The special event station GB8OSC celebrates the 80th jubilee of the
Scarborough Amateur Radio Society in February. QSLs will be sent via
bureau automatically, you do not need to send your QSL.

HA, HUNGARY
The contest station HG1S celebrates its 30th anniversay by using the
special callsign HA30S until the end of the year.

Lothar,HK3JCL, announced his regular sked times:
Echolink via DM0ZHS-L (# 249774), 144.962,5 kHz, every day at 1030 UTC

The special event station 8J4CEH is working in all modes on HF from
the 26th National Confectionary Exposition in Hiroshima (JCC 3501) on

official Baden-Powell Day (Feb 22). On Feb 16/17 mainly Girl Guides
take part in the "Thinking Day On The Air" (TDOTA) as the Boy Scouts
have their Jamboree On The Air (JOTA) in October. QSL via PA3EFR.

V3, BELIZE
John,WC0W, George,K5PI, and Mark,AG9A, are going to Belize for the
ARRL CW Contest. They hopre to score well as V31TP. QSL via WC0W.

XV, VIETNAM

Zrinko (Zik),DK8ZZ, will be active on the bands signing XV2DLH from

On the occasion of the 1700th anniversary of the Edict of Milan, the

SILENT KEY: Willy Assold,DL3IE, passed away at the age of 91 on Feb 9. He
was a wellknown DXer and got his first license as DE3842/p in 1936.
Our condolences and sympathy are with his family and friends.
We do not want to be sad that we lost him, but grateful that we could
get to know him as a radio friend. We will always keep him in memory.

NA-015, KG4, Cuba: Hurricane Sandy damaged the Guantanamo Bay ARC station
(WLOTA 0358) extensively. Ed,KN4KL/KG4KL (Feb 16-23), and Bill,W4WV/
KG4WV (Feb 17-Mar 1), will repair the antennas and the shack and plan
to hit the airwaves when the repairs are finished.
