and Pingelap Atolls (OC-226). He informs OPDX [edited], "I am sailing
on
a boat with a marine radio. The captain believes it works on 20
meters
and possibly some additional bands. He isn't a ham so he can't try it
out. So I am hoping that it works out when I get there. As it stands
I
arrive into Kosrae on February 23rd. Then leave Pohnpei on March 22nd.
I
plan to operate from Kosrae for about a week and then on to the
Atolls
(OC-226) on the way to Pohnpei, but it all depends on WX and other
factors.
As far as bands, I think 20 meters phone is what I am looking to
operate
mostly. I'll bring a key for CW just in case I can get it going. The
other
bands will need to be determined after I get there." Mike plans on
using
LoTW as the primary QSL vehicle, but you can send cards direct to him
or
by the Bureau.
