3V, Tunisia:
After two years of waiting Tunisia finally has a first independent
Amateur Radio Association, the "Association Tunisienne des Radio
Amateur" (ASTRA), which holds a club station license as 3V8HQ. QSL
via bureau.

D2, Angola:
Craig, MM0SSG, returns to Luanda on the 16th and will be back on
the air during his free time. QRV until December on 80-10m in SSB,
PSK31, and CW as D2SG. QSL via GM4FDM, LotW.

E5, South Cook Islands:
David, BA4DW, is going to activate Rarotonga (OC-013) holiday-style
from the 21st to the 27th. QRV on HF in CW and SSB. QSL via h/c.

HK, Colombia:
Lothar, DK8LRF, will be back on the air as HK3JCL from January 17
to April 7. QRV from Restrepo/Meta (WW Loc. FJ34fg), mainly on 15,
20, and 40m in SSB. QSL via h/c.

KG4, Guantanamo:
Tip, N4SIA (KG4AS), and Stu, K4MIL (KG4SS), are due to appear on
the air from the 17th to the 27th on 160-6m in SSB, RTTY, and CW.

PA, Netherlands:
The international ham club "Whisky Oscar" (PI4WO) celebrates its
silver jubilee all year long with the special event call PA35WO.

PJ2, Curacao:
Jeff, K8ND, returns once more to Signal Point, Curacao (SA-099,
WLOTA 0942), from the 17th to the 29th, operating as PJ2/K8ND. QRV
during the CQ WW 160m Contest as PJ2T. QSL PJ2/K8ND via h/c, LoTW;
PJ2T via W3HNK, LoTW.

SP, Poland:
Popes John Paul II and John XXIII will both be canonised on April
27. The special event station HF2014JP draws attention to this
event on the bands until August 31. QSL via SP4ICP, eQSL.

UR, Ukraine:
The "Mountain Rescue of Crimea" (MRC) group celebrates its 50th
anniversary this year. Its members (UU2JO, UU5JA, UU5JIP, UU5JDX,
UU5JMW, UU5JMK, UU5JRD, UU5JKP, UU8JA, DD4IL, DJ4IL, DL3FCU, DJ6EB,
DO1IM, RZ3CC, UR5FIR, UR6LED, UU0JU, UU1JJ, UU2JC, UU2JI, UU3JS,
UU4JLZ, UU4JDZ, UU4JAR, UU5JAR, UU5JC, UU5JJ, UU5JRV, UU5JSA,
UU5JSS, UU5JTT, UV5ESZ, UV5EUK, and UY7IQ) will operate the
following special event stations all year long: EM50J, EM50JA (also
/p and /a), EO50JA, UU3JZA, UU4JZA, and UU5JZA. The group also

V4, St. Kitts:
Tony, N3ME, (V47AJ), takes his family once more for a holiday to
St. Kitts (NA-104) for one month from January 21 on. QRV
holiday-style on 160-10m in CW, SSB, and a focus on RTTY (including
operating in the CQ WPX RTTY Contest). QSL via h/c, LoTW.

V4, St. Kitts:
Tony's son Bernie, W3UR, will also be on the island from January 21
to February 5, operating as V4/W3UR. QRV mainly in CW, with a focus
on 160m (including operating the contest). QSL via h/c, LotW.

XW, Laos:
Toshi, JA8BMK, is going to be active as XW8BM from the 15th to the
30th. QRV on 160-10m in all modes. He travels together with his
wife and close to 100kg of ham equipment. From Laos he will move on
to Vietnam next. QSL via h/c.

WCA

5th Anniversary of the WCA award scheme and WCA Happy Birthday Weekend
January 18/19
January 14 marks the 5th anniversary of WCA, which will be
celebrated with an activity on January 18/19. OPerators interested
in the WCA programme are encouraged to get on the air on those days.

Castillo de San Francisco - EA-01917
Andres/EA8AMY, Jose/EA8CZM, Sixto/EA8CDW, Andres/EA8AAW, and
Antonio/EA8ED, all members of the DX Group Orobal plan to activate
the Castillo de San Francisco (WCA EA-01917, DCE GC-015) on the
18th as EA8ED/p. QRV on 20, 15, and 10m in SSB. QSL via EA8ED (d/B).

Rabsztyn Castle - SP-00832
Members of the Silesian Radioamateur Group are going to activate
Rabsztyn Castle (WCA SP-00832, ZWP MOZ04) on the 19th as SP9YFF/p.
Their location also counts as SPFF-093. QRV on HF in all modes.
