Ugljan (EU-170) and possibly other nearby islands from 25 May to 7

9M2 - A large team will be active as 9M2MI from Pulau Undan (AS-097)
from 30 May to 1 June. They will operate SSB and CW on 40, 20, 17,

CE_ssh - Jorge, CE9OJZ (home call CE3OJZ) works for the Directorate General
for Civil Aviation of Chile, and will be stationed at the Teniente
Marsh aerodrome on King George Island, South Shetlands (AN-010)

CT7 - CT1GFK, CT1GPQ, CT1IUA, CT3FN, CU8AS and HB9CQL will participate
in the CQ WW WPX CW Contest as CS2W from Culatra Island (EU-145).

DU - Don, NW5H will be active as DU8/NW5H from the islands of Dinagat
(OC-235) and Mindanao (OC-130) between now and 3 June. QSL via

EI - EI2GX, EI2KC, EI3HA, EI5IQ, EI6FR, EI7DSB, HB9ASZ and HB9DGV will
be active as EJ7NET from Clear Island (EU-121) on 12-17 July. QSL

ES - Look for ES0/OH3LB, ES0/OH3HPV, ES0/OH3TA, ES0/OH6KS and ES0/OH7KA
to be active from Hiiumaa Island (EU-034) from 29 May to 1 June.
They plan to have at least two stations on the air at the same

F - Special event station TM68VA will be active between 24 May and 18
October (further information on qrz.com) to commemorate the 100th
anniversary of World War I. The suffix stands for the Vieil Armand
(aka Hartmannswillerkopf), a rocky spur in the Vosges mountains of
Alsace where a long battle was fought in 1915. QSL via F6KDL (all

F - The Castres DX Gang will be active as TM5FI from the island of

F - The Invoker Team (EA3AKA, EA3NT, F4BKV, F4FET, F4FPG and F4HAU)
will be active as TM1INT from Banc d'Arguin (EU-159) from 30 May
to 1 June. They plan to operate CW and SSB with 3-4 stations on

F - Commemorating the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings in
Normandy, a team from the Radio Club de Vernon will be active as
TM70BMC (QSL via F5IL) on 5-8 June from the historical site on
Mont Canisy. Another special callsign will be TM70JUN (QSL via
F4GAJ), to be used from the French Department of Calvados on 6-20

F - Once again (for the 63rd year) the Association des Radioamateurs
de la Sarthe will operate a special event station for the 24 Hours
of Le Mans. Look for TM24H on 2-16 June, with activity on 80-6
metres SSB, CW, RTTY and PSK. QSL via F6KFI. [TNX F8REF]
F - Eric F5LOW, Laurent F5MNK, Bertrand F6HKA and Leon ON4ZD will be
active as TM0O from the island of Ouessant (EU-065) on 14-21 June.
They will operate SSB, CW and digital modes. QSL via ON4ZD,
preferably through the OQRS provided by Club Log.
FG - Alain, F5LMJ will be active holiday style as TO5MJ from
Guadeloupe (NA-102) on 7-17 July. He will operate CW, digital
modes and SSB on 40-10 metres. QSL via home call, direct or

FP - Once again Eric, KV1J will be active as FP/KV1J from Miquelon
Island (NA-032) on 5-15 July. Plans are to operate SSB, RTTY and
some CW on 80-10 metres ("generally on the highest frequency band
open"), plus 6m if there are "indications of openings". He will
also take part in the DL-DX RTTY Contest (5-6 July) and the IARU
HF World Championship (12-13 July). QSL via home call, direct or

FS - John, K9EL will be active as FS/K9EL from St. Martin (NA-105) on
9-27 June. He will be QRV on 80-6 metres, possibly on 60 metres
"if there is interest". QSL via home call; daily uploads to Club

(@FSK9EL).
G - Once again a team from the South Bristol Amateur Radio Club will
be active as GB2BLE from Lundy Island (EU-120) on 15-20 June. They
plan to operate SSB and digital modes (mainly PSK31) on 80-10
metres, and possibly also on 6 and 2m. QSL via bureau. Further

GD - A team from the Telford and District Amateur Society will be
active as GT3ZME/p from the Isle Of Man (EU-116) on 26-30 June.
They will be QRV on the HF bands, as well as on VHF ("50MHz will
be a priority"), UHF and SHF. QSL via bureau to G3ZME (email
requests for bureau cards to buroqsl[@]pleasemail.me.uk) or direct
to M0PNN.
JA - Look for Masa, JF3ELH to be active as JF3ELH/6 from Amami Oshima
(AS-023) from 30 May to 1 June. He will be QRV on 40-6 metres

KP4 - Anthony, WP4I and others (Carlos KP4CPC, Rafael KP4ROS and Edgard
NP4EG) will be active from the lighthouse on Isla Culebrita
(NA-099) on 15-18 August, including participation in the
International Lighthouse/Lightship Weekend (16-17 August,
http://illw.net/). They will operate SSB, CW and digital modes.

P4 - K5NOT, W5BL and W5LJW will be active holiday style as P40DM from
Aruba (SA-036) from 29 May to 4 June. They will be QRV on 20-6
metres, with a focus on 10 and 6 metres. QSL via K5NOT. They might
also operate under their individual callsigns, namely P40TX

SM - Lars, SM6CUK will be active as SA6G/7 from Ven Island (EU-137) on

SV - SV2BRT, SV2CLJ, SV2DGH, SV2FPU, SV2HNC and SV2RJV will be active
as J48TSL from the island of Skyros (EU-060) on 13-19 June. They

V6 - Sho, JA7HMZ will be active again as V63DX from Pohnpei (OC-010),
Micronesia from 30 May to 5 June. He will be QRV on 80-6 metres.

VE - Special callsign VC3JUNO will be in use on all bands and modes
between 6 June and 31 July to commemorate the 70th anniversary of
the D-Day landings in Normandy. QSL via VE3JO, direct or bureau,

VE - Back in April 1939 the Russian Ilyushin TsKB-30 prototype "Moskva"
was forced to land on Miscou Island, New Brunswick while flying
non-stop from Moscow to the New York World's Fair. Commemorating
the 75th anniversary of that flight, special event station
VX9MOSKVA will be activated from the lighthouse on Miscou Island
(NA-068) starting at 15 UTC on 19 June for at least 48 hours. Look
for activity on 80, 40, 20,15, and 10 metres CW and SSB. QSL via
operator's instructions. The special callsign has been granted for
use from 24 May to 22 June. [TNX VE9TCA]
W - Special event station W9D will be active on 6-8 June to
commemorate the 70th anniversary of D Day. On 7 June operations
will take place from the grounds of the First Division War Museum
at Cantigny Park (Wheaton, IL). The 1st Infantry Division led the
landing on Omaha Beach in Normandy on 6 June 1944. QSL direct to
W9DUP (DuPage Amateur Radio Club, P.O. Box 71, Clarendon Hills IL
60514, USA).
YB - YB8RW/p, YB8SOC/p, YB8UTI/p, YC8SFS/p, YD8TWW/p and YD8UNH/p will
be active from several islands in the Talaud Group (OC-209):
Kabaruan (24-27 May), Salibabu (27-28 May), Sara'a Besar and

YB - Budi, YF1AR (www.yf1ar.com) has slightly changed his plans for his
DXpedition to the Mentawai Islands (OC-215) [425DXN 1201]. Look
for YF1AR/5 to be active from Pulau Sipura (not Siberut) one day
later than originally planned, from 25 May to 1 June. He will
operate mainly SSB on 40-10 metres. QSL via N2OO or via the OQRS

YV - Pedro, YV4OW/5 will be active from Isla Testigo Grande (SA-059) on
22-25 May. He operates SSB on 80-6 metres QRP. QSL direct to AD5VK

IOTA TOUR ---> Klaus, DL7UXG and Ric, DL2VFR will be active from three IOTA
groups in Finland, Sweden and Norway as follows:

IOTA NEWS: DIRECTORY 2014 ---> The new IOTA Directory, published this
month, makes a number of changes to the Rules, to take effect immediately.
These were mainly provisions that were out of date and no longer reflected
IOTA as it is today. A note of the main changes can be seen on

Directory-50th Anniversary Edition is available from the Radio Society of

details of the small rule changes affecting this exercise at

submitting candidate groups should read the guidance given in "IOTA Rule
Changes 2014 (Convention Attendees)". The date for submissions is 20 June
