He says that his trip to Mauritius is more as a tourist with his family and not seen as a DXpedition. His power will be limited to 100 watts, and he hopes to have a hexbeam, a wire beam for 6m (possibly made from the island's bamboo), as well as a delta loop and long wire available for his activity. His operating position will be close to the city center of Port Louis in the North West of the Island. He does plan/hopes to operate at least 3 hours a day on the following HF Phone bands: 40/20/17/15/12/10 meters. He is also planning to operate on some PSK and JT65 making some contacts with low to modest power levels (NO amp). Robert has been asked about moonbounce over the horizon but thinks this may be optimistic with only 100 watts. He will set up a schedule on QRZ.com under 3B8M0RCX.
