Quest Continues for 1 kW Power Privileges In Australia:

VK1WIA National News, WIA Director Roger
Harrison, VK2ZRH, recently remarked on efforts to raise the Amateur
Radio power limit to 1 kW there. A 1 kW limit was trialed in 2012-2013,
but Harrison said he does not expect the Australian Communications and
Media Authority (ACMA) to repeat that test.
