3D2, Fiji:
Wes, ZL3TE, will stop on his way to Visalia and operate as 3D2SE
between the 12th and 16th of April. Plans are for CW, some
digi-modes and a part-time operation in the Japan International DX
Contest. QSL direct via h/c, LotW.

9G; Ghana:
Eltje, PA3CEE, and Rene, PE1L, bring Ghana on the air via EME
between the 12th and 24th of April, signing 9G5EME.

CE, Chile:
The special event station XR86PL celebrates the 86th year of the
"Carabineros de Chile" all through April on all bands in SSB, RTTY,
and PSK. QSL via CE3ETE.

CT, Portugal:
CR5IARU, a special call belonging to Portugal's national radio club
REP, celebrates the World Day of Amateur Radio (18th of April)
between the 13th and the 19th. ClubLog will serve as online log,
QSL via CT1REP.

DL, Germany:
DL75KUE, special event station of the radio club of Bad Doberan
(DOK V06) commemorates the diamond jubilee of the seaside resort
Kuehlungsborn, located at the coast of the Balic Sea. Operations
started in March and will continue until the end of February next
year, their special DOK 75KUE runs until 22nd of April 2013.

G, England:
GB2GKR takes part in the Maritime Radio Day (14th-15th of April)
from the location of the closed down former coastal radio station
Wick Radio (former call GKR). QSL via GM3ZDH, eQSL.

HB0, Liechtenstein:
A large team of hams from the Netherlands (Mans, PA2HGJ, Hugo,
PA2HW, Robert, PA2RDK, Frank, PA3CNO, Paul, PA3DFR, Henny, PA3HK,
Gert, PE0MGB, and Piet, PE1FLO) is due to appear on the bands from
Liechtenstein (various SOTA-relevant locations included) between
the 13th and 20th of April on all bands 160 - 10m in SSB, CW, and
PSK31. Calls follow the CEPT-style HB0/. QSLs via PE1FLO.

I, Italy:
The Radio Club Vercelli puts II1MGY on the air around the 14th of
April in an effort to keep the memory on the Titanic-disaster
alive. QSL automatic via bureau, direct via IW1EHL.

JA, Japan:
Japanese amateurs celebrate the sucessful transition from analogue
to digital terrestric TV with the call 8N1TW. Activity continues
till the the 28th of July, QSL via bureau. http://www.dtvstatus.net/

EA, Spain:
Celebrations around the World Day of Amateur Radio will also be
held in Spain. Until the 18th of April the station EH7DMR is active
in that regard and also in the memory of the first emergency
communication via amateur radio in 1913 by the youngster (15)
Herbert Vestner "H.V." Akerberg, who helped during a severe flood

LY, Lithuania:
LY95X (Op. Vilmantas, LY3BY) operates in honour of OM B. Talutis
(later LY1X) in Siauliai who conducted first radio experiments at a

Queen Beatrix will step down as reigning monarch at the end of this
month in favour of Prince Willem-Alexander. The following special

3Z80SPC celebrates the 80th anniversary of the SP DX Contest.

SU, Egypt:
After almost 9 months Andy, RW3AH, finally received his operating
license and signs SU9AF from near Cairo. His operating privileges
include 160, 40, 20, 17, 15, 12, and 10m (80, 75, 30m are not
permitted in Egypt). At the moment he works with an IC-718, a delta
loop for 20 and 10m, and a vertical for 30, 17, 15, and 12m. No
antenna for 160 yet. Preferred QRGs:
CW: 7002, 14002, 18070, 21002, 24895 and 28002 kHz
SSB: 7155, 14155, 14195, 18155, 21295, 24940 and 28495 kHz
6m/VHF/UHF/Satellite: not permitted
The duration of his stay is unknown, his license remains valid

SV, Greece:
J49C celebrates the union of Crete and Greece's centennial until
the 30th of June, maybe even 2 or months longer. QSL via SV9COL

TI, Costa Rica:
The special call TE1856 refers to the marching feat of a part of
the Costa Rican army, known as "La Ruta de los Heroes". Activity on
10, 15, 20, 40, and 80m in SSB, CW, and PSK.

ZK3, Tokelau:
Hans, DL6JGN and Guenter, DL2AWG activate the Nukunonu-Atoll
(OC-048) between the 15th and 30th of April on 80 -6m in CW, SSB,

PA0HFT (Henk/PA0HFT and Gert/PA5TS) is still QRV until the 14th of
April. QSL via PA0HFT (d/B).

EU-088; OZ; Kattegat group: Harry/PA1H and Nico/PA7PA will appear
on the air from Laeso Island (DIA NK-003; WLOTA 2820) between the
13th and 26th of April as OZ/... . Plans include bands 80 - 10m in
SSB and digital modes, probably also on 160m. A short trip to
Hornfiskrom Island (EU-088) is also on their agenda. QSL via

EU-094; F; Bretagne (Finistere South) Region group: Gil/F4FET
announces a two-day activity as F4FET/p from Moutons Island (DIFM
AT-009, WLOTA 0002, ARLHS FRAU-043; FFF-700) and Ile de Guiriden
(DIFM AT-067, FFF-700) sometime between the 11th and 18th of April,
the preferred window is the 13th/14th. Focus will be on 10, 15, 17,

EU-127; DL; Schleswig-Holstein State South group: DM50IOTA (Ops
Friedrich/DL4BBH, Klaus/DL7UXG, Matthias/DK7LV, Henning/DB5BZ,
Peter/DJ4RU, Helmut/DL1BGC and Ric/DL2VFR) is QRV between the 12th
and 14th of April. All QSOs also count for the light-house Neuwerk
(GLHS #38, ARLHS FED-165, TWLHD WLH DL-01, WLOTA 2311, Admiralty B
1344) and the WFF area "Hamburgisches Wattenmeer" (DLFF-005). QSL

NA-025; J8; The Grenadines: Brian/GW4DVB undertakes a
mini-DXpedition to Palm Island (WW Loc. FK92ho), signing J8/G4DVB
between the 13th and 20th of April on 80 - 6m. QSL via GW4DVB

OC-004; VK9; Lord Howe Island: Oliver/W6NV visits Lord Howe Island
(VKFF-295) between the 10th and 14th of April. He is teaming up
with Seppo/OH1VR. They will use VK9LT and VK9/OH1VR (11th to 16th
of April). Operations might include the JIDX CW Contest and the
Yuri Gagarin DX Contest. QSL for VK9LT direct via W6NV, and
VK9/OH1VR direct via OH1VR.

OC-010; V6; Pohnpei Island: Sho/JA7HMZ (V63DX) and Kei/JA7GYP
(V63T) will appear on the air between the 15th and 20th of April
from Pohnpei Island (WW Loc. QJ96) on 40 - 6m in CW, SSB und RTTY.

SA-001; CE0; Easter Island: Pipe/CE3SX remains QRV until the 11th of
April from Easter Island (WW Loc. DG52) as XR0YX, solely on 6m.
