3V, Tunisia:
Ash, KF5EYY, plans to participate in the CQWW WPX RTTY Contest
(February 8/9) as 3V8BB on 40m. QSL direct via LX1NO, LotW.

5B, Cyprus:
Alessandro, IZ4AMS, and Fabio, IK2LTR, will join the contest from
Cyprus as 5B/IZ4AMS (20m) and 5B/IK2LTR (15m). QRV also before and
after from the 5th to the 12th on 30-10m in CW, SSB, and RTTY. QSLs
via homecalls.

6Y, Jamaica:
Yuri, VE3DZ, pays Jamaica a visit from the 11th to the 18th and
works the bands as 6Y2T, including the ARRL Contest (February
15/16). QSL via h/c.

7P, Lesotho:
Ewald, DK3ID/OE8IDK, announces a roadtrip from South Africa into
Lesotho taking place from the 11th to the 16th. He wants to get on
the air as 7P8ID on 40-6m on SSB with 100W, a dipole and a 2
element beam. QSL direct via OE8IDK or DK3ID.

C6, Bahamas:
George, KQ8Z, intends to join both ARRL DX contests from the
Bahamas as C6AZZ. QRV from February 11 to March 3 on most bands.
QSL via h/c, direct only.

CN, Morocco:
Ruggero, IK2PZC, is due to appear on the bands from the 6th to the
9th as 5C2P. QRV on HF in SSB and RTTY (including the contest).
QSL via h/c, LotW.

CT, Portugal:
The Portugese authorities have temporarily extended the 160m band
for Portugese hams for a number of international contests. In
addition to the established frequencies 1810-1850 kHz Portugese
operators may currently operate also in the band 1850-2000 kHz.

EA9, Ceuta and Melilla:
Jorge, EA9LZ, will join the RTTY contest on all bands. QSL via
EA5KB, LotW.

FK, New Caledonia:
Freddy, F5IRO, plans to operate from Mare Island (OC-033) during
the 2nd week of February as FK8RO/p. QRV on 40-10m in CW each day
from 09z on. QSL via F5IRO. http://j28ro.blogspot.com

FM, Martinique:
Francoise, F4BMR, and Yves, F5GN, have updated their plans to
operate from Ducos (NA-107, DIFO FM-001, WLOTA 1041). QRV as TO4YL
from the 8th to the 22nd on 160-10m. QSL via F5GN.

FP, St. Pierre et Miquelon:
Al, W6HGF, once more operates as FP/W6HGF from February 7 to 18.
QRV on 160-10m, mainly in RTTY and some CW. QSL via h/c, OQRS via

HK0, San Andres:
David, HK0AZW, announces his intent to return to the bands. Stay
tuned.

HL, Korea:
Operators Han, DS2GOO, Sun, DS4DBF, Rew, DS4NYE, Kim, HL1OYF, and
Rocky, HL1VAU, all members of the Korea Contest Club, join forces
to operate D70LW from the island Anmyon (AS-080) during the RTTY
contest. QSL direct via DS4NYE, LoTW.

HR, Honduras:
John, NO7B, will be active as HR2/NO7B from the 6th to the 18th,
using the QTH of HR2J. QRV on 80-10m (maybe also 160 and 6m). QSL
via h/c.

J3, Grenada:
Ulf, DL5AXX, once more revisits Grenada (NA-024, WLOTA 0718, WW
Loc. FK92dc) from the 6th to the 18th (including the ARRL contest),
operating as J38XX. QRV on all bands and lots of modes. Log will be
uploaded to ClubLog, OQRS via his own site.

JA, Japan:
Japanese amateurs announce a number of special event stations:
8J1AOBA (20th anniversary of Aoba-ward in Yokohama, QRV the whole
year); 8N3HKC (Hirakata being promoted in its city status, QRV
until September 30); 8J1TZ20Y (20th anniversary of Tsuzuki-ward in
Yokohama, QRV until March 31); 8N2TCES (special event station in
the context of a planned ARISS contact, QRV during February).

KH6, Hawaii:
Tom, NH6Y, is going to cover the satellite operations of
W1AW/KH6 for one week starting on February 5.

KP2, U.S. Virgin Islands:
Ed, K1ZE, Bob, W1EQ and Jay, W1UJ, plan to get active as
KP2/homecalls from the 10th to the 17th (including the ARRL contest
as NP2N) from St. Croix. QRV on HF in CW, SSB, and RTTY. QSL NP2N

LA, Norway:
LM2T75Y celebrates the 75th anniversary of the NRRL club in
Trondheim (LA2T). QRV all year long on HF in lots of modes. QSL via
LA2T, LoTW.

LY, Lithuania:
LY16W commemorates the proclamation of an independent Lithuania on
February 16, 1918. QRV during February. QSL via LY5W, LoTW, eQSL.

LY WPX Trophy award schemes:

OM, Slovakia:
OM150JM honours the memory of the Slovakian inventor and wireless
pioneer Jozef Murgas. QRV from February to May on all bands in CW,
SSB, and digital modes. QSL via OM7AX.

PA, The Netherlands:
Fred, PA0FAW (ISWL PA-11092), uses the call PA400SM to mark 400
years of friendship between the Netherlands and Sweden. QRV from
February 8 to March 7 in CW plus some digital modes and SSB from
various locations (possibly including WFF-PA-005).
QSL via h/c, eQSL, SWL reports welcome.

PJ7, Sint Maarten:
Jeff, VA3QSL, will operate holiday-style as PJ7/VA3QSL from Sint
Maarten (NA-105, WLOTA 0711) between the 9th and 17th. A short
operation as FS/VA3QSL might also be possible. QRV on 80-10m in CW

UA, Russia:
R25AFG marks the Russian retreat from Afghanistan 25 years ago. QRV

YB, Indonesia:
Look out for Pri, YB0ECT, during the RTTY contest on all bands. QSL
via W2FB, LoTW, eQSL.

YJ, Vanuatu:
Bill, N7OU, and Rocky, NE7D, are going to Port Vila from the 11th
to the 25th (including the ARRL contest). QRV on 160-10m in CW,
using vertical antennas and 500W. Calls have not been announced so

Silent Key:
The former ARRL Roanoka Division Director P.L. "Andy" Anderson
(N4AE) died aged 99 on the 27th of January.
