Our jubilee award for 60 years of DXMB / DXNL is now also
available
for SWLs. Interested parties need to submit SWL report
confirmations from DJ60DXMB on five bands. A confirmed report
from
DK0DX may be used once as a joker. Applications are to be
directed
to the manager DL4BBH and need to include date, time, band,
mode,
and the second call of the reported QSO. These informal
applications will be checked against the logs of DJ60DXMB and
DK0DX. A single mode endorsement is possible. The award is only
available as a .pdf document. The fee is EUR 3.
EA8, Canary Islands:
Luis, EA8AY, joins the ARRL contest as EF8USA from Teneriffa

Ernest, J69AZ, reports the establishment of a J6DX Portable
Group.
The group apparently plans to undertake portable activities
around
St Lucia and also welcomes visiting amateurs. A possible first
operation may take place from February 21 - 23 from Rat Island
using the call J6SLI35 in honour of the 35th local Day of
Independence.

activation of Spitzbergen (EU-026) from the 12th to the 19th
