7Q     - Karl, DK2WV and Heino, DJ9AF will be active as  7Q7VW  from  Malawi
         on 6-21 May. They will operate CW, SSB and RTTY  on  160-6  metres.

EU     - Special callsigns EV2014WHC and EV2014ICE will be in  use  on  9-25
         May for the 78th Ice  Hockey  World  Championship  to  be  held  in
         Minsk, Belarus. See qrz.com for QSL information and  details  about
         the free of charge awards issued by the  Belarusian  Federation  of
         Radioamateurs and Radiosportsmen (BFRR).
F      - The  Pau  Radio  Club  (http://f6kdu.wordpress.com/)  will  operate
         special callsign TM64PAU until 19 May for the Grand  Prix  de  Pau.

G      - The Cray Valley Radio Society will be active as GB6MW from  Meopham
         Windmill  on  10-11  May  for  the  Mills  on  the   Air    weekend

GD     - G0FUW, M0SFT, M0TGN and M0TTE will be active  as  MT0WCB  from  the
         Isle of Man (EU-116) on 10-17 May. They will operate  SSB,  CW  and

GM     - Alex, G0DHZ and Andre,  GM3VLB  will  be  active  as  GM0DHZ/p  and
         GM3VLB/p from a large number of Scottish  islands  in  IOTA  groups
         EU-005, EU-008 and EU-123 starting on 3 May for three  weeks.  They
         will operate SSB and CW. QSL GM3VLB/p  direct  to  home  call;  QSL

GM     - Joachim, DH5JBR is going on another "30 islands in  30  days"  trip
         to Scotland. His tour will  start  on  4  May  from  Great  Cumbrae
         (EU-123), followed by Bute (EU-123, 5 May), Arran (EU-123, 6  May),
         Colonsay (EU-008, 7 May), Jura (EU-008, 8 May),  Islay  (EU-008,  9
         May)  and  Gigha  (EU-008,   10    May).    Keep    an    eye    on

HB0    - Torsten, DO5AD, and Joerg, DL4HTK will be active as HB0Y/DO5AD  and
         HB0/DL4HTK from Triesenberg, Liechtenstein on 4-18 May.  They  will
         operate CW, SSB, PSK and RTTY on 80-10 metres. QSL via home  calls.
         They had been issued HB0YRK and HB0DRK  [425DXN  1199],  but  those
         callsigns  "have  been  revoked  by  government  authorities   upon
         intervention of the national radio club, which got swamped  in  the
         past by unclaimed QSL cards for a  previous  expedition".  [TNX  DX

I      - Special callsign II3TN will be in use until 31  July  to  celebrate
         the  80th  anniversary  of  ARI  Trento  (IQ3TN).  QSL  via  bureau
         (preferred) or direct to A.R.I. Trento, Via E.  Conci  86/A,  38123
         Trento TN, Italy. Information on the relevant award  can  be  found

KH0    - Once again Miho, JJ2VLY and Yutaka, JQ2GYU will be active  as  NH0J
         from Tinian, Northern Marianas (OC-086)  in  6-11  May.  They  will
         operate CW, SSB and RTTY on 80-10 metres. QSL  via  JJ2VLY,  direct

KL     - Yuri, N3QQ and others will be active as  KL7RRC  from  Adak  Island
         (NA-039) on 24-31 July, including and entry in  the  IOTA  Contest.
         QSL via N7RO. A side trip to the rare Rat Islands (NA-070) is  also

LY     - LY10EU is the Lithuanian  Amateur  Radio  Society's  special  event
         station celebrating the 10th anniversary of  Lithuania's  accession
         to the European Union. It will be active until 31  May  along  with
         several other LY10  special  callsigns.  Details  on  the  relevant
         award can be found at www.qrz.com/db/LY10EU.
PA     - Celebrating the 600th anniversary  of  the  Dutch  city  of  Weert,
         PA600WRT will be on the air until 31 May. QSL  via  PD0MHZ,  direct

PA     - Operated by members of the Dutch International  Police  Association
         (PI4IPA), special event  station  PG200KMAR  celebrates  the  200th
         anniversary of the  Koninklijke  Marechaussee  (Netherlands'  Royal
         Military Constabulary). It will will be active  on  1-28  May  (see
         qrz.com for other activity periods between June and January  2015);
         on 3-6 May operations will take place from Texel  Island  (EU-038).

PA     - Look for PH4P/p and PD1RP/p to be  active  from  Schouwen-Duiveland

PY0F    - Andre, PP6ZZ will be active as  PY0FF  from  Fernando  de  Noronha
         (SA-003) until 8 May. He will be  QRV  on  30-10  metres  SSB,  CW,

SV9    - Uli, DJ9XB will be active as SW9XB  from  Crete  (EU-015)  on  6-16

XE     - Members of Radioclub Cancun will be active as XE3RALLY on 7-12  May
         during  the  Rally  Maya  Mexico  car  race.  See    qrz.com    and

YB     - Adhi, YB3MM is active as YB3MM/8 from the Talaud  Islands  (OC-209)
         until 5 May. He started from Sara'a Besar,  with  plans  for  other
         two different islands (Karakelong and Salibabu) in  the  same  IOTA

YB     - Imam, YB4IR [425DXN 1199] has rescheduled his next IOTA operations,
         and will be active as YB4IR/5 from Pulau Singkep (OC-107)  on 12-15
         May,  and from  Pulau Midai (OC-109) on 18-25 May.  He will operate
         CW, SSB and RTTY on  40-10  metres. QSL via home call, direct (OQRS

YV0    - The YW0A DXpedition to Aves Island, which  was  expected  to  leave
         port on 29 April [425DXN 1199], has been postponed due  to  a  last
         minute  change  in  the  Venezuelan   Navy    schedule.    Bookmark

AFRICA TOUR ---> Gert, ZS6AYU will be active holiday  style  as  A25GF  from
Botswana  on  16-18 May, and  as Z21GF from Zimbabwe  on 19-23 May.  He will
operate CW on 40-10 metres, will also give  6m  a try around 16-17 UTC. QSLs

IOTA HONOUR ROLL ---> The 2014 Honour Roll and  Annual  Listings  have  been

IOTA MARATHON ---> The results of  the  IOTA  Marathon  are  now  posted  on
G3KMA's website  (www.g3kma.dsl.pipex.com). "A list of prize winners will be
published  shortly. Complete tables with detailed analysis will be available
in the IOTA Directory 2014 to be published within the next two weeks".

QSL GALLERY ---> The large collection of QSL cards  on  Les  Nouvelles  DX's
web site has been updated. Sixteen different galleries include 11,812  cards
for the ten Most  Wanted  DXCC  Entities  (2004-13),  the  61  deleted  DXCC
Entities, obsolete prefixes,  stations  from  Maghreb  from  1945  to  1962,
Allied Forces stations in Germany (1945-69), special stations  commemorating
ITU and IARU, Antarctic bases &  TAAF  (Terres  Australes  and  Antarctiques
Francaises), the various French DXCC island Entities in the  Pacific  Ocean,
the Indian Ocean and the Americas (from 1945 to 1970),  pre-1945  countries,
French Departments and CONUS, plus a  gallery  for  cards  not  accepted  by

W1AW WAS ---> Look for ARRL Centennial station W1AW/0 from  Nebraska  to  be
on the air starting at 00.00 UTC on 7 May  until  23.59  UTC  on  the  13th.
There will be no "second" state, as the Utah  (W1AW/7)  operation  initially
scheduled now will take place starting on 2 July. This will  be  the  second
and final opportunity to work W1AW from Nebraska  for  the  ARRL  Centennial
QSO Party (www.arrl.org/centennial-qso-party) and for the Worked All  States
W1AW Award.
