Michael, WU2D, is due to arrive on the island on July 8 to

as CE0X/WU2D for ca. 5 days.
CP, Bolivia:
Antonio, EA5RM, will be busy installing a solar-powered HF setup
for an NGO in San Ignacio de Moxos during July. He will be on
the
air during his spare time as CP1XRM using a solar-powered 100W
rig

E5, South Cook Island:
Joel, K2QBV, spends a holiday on Rarotonga Island (OC-013) from
the
8th to 21st. QRV as E51QBV with a high-power setup, a 7 element

TM68TDF operates in the context of the Tour de France from July
5

Members of the Association des Radioamateurs du Nord (ARAN)
commemorate the 800th anniversary of the Battle of Bouvines on

Alain, F5LMJ, pays a visit to Sainte Rose on Guadeloupe (NA-102)

Eric, KV1J, returns to Insel Miquelon (NA-032, DIFO FP-002 WLOTA

MUF
on the bands and pay particular attention to 6m. Depending on
the

Championship

Laurent, F8BBL, returns to Corsica (EU-014, DIFM TK-001) for a
holiday-style activity signing TK14CC. QRV from July 5 to 19 on
80-10m in CW and SSB and on 6m as TK14CC/p from Cap Corse
(JN42ra).

VE, Canada:
A group of amateurs will attempt to claim the Brendan Trophy for
the first transatlantic QSO on 2m with an activity from July 4
to
12 using the call VC1T. Their QTH is on Pouch Cove (NA-027,
47.76942 Nord, 52.76384 West, WW Loc. GN37os), the exact
location
(3400km from the Irish coast) is about 23km from Marconi's
receiving site of 1901. The group will operate on 144.155 MHz
+/-
20 Hz with 750W and a 30m long 43 element Yagi (23.9 dB gain).
The
group plans to concentrate their efforts on JT65B, but they will
also try CW, SSB and WSJT. Realtime information will be
available

WRTC 2014:
This year's IARU HF Championship sees another edition of the
World
Radiosport Team Championship. The idea behind the event is a
level
playing field for 59 teams of two operators each during the
contest
from New England. Previous events took place in Seattle (1990),
San
Francisco (1996), Slovenia (2000), Finland (2002), Brazil
(2006),
