July 24, 2014
The worst week for two, maybe three years.
What more can I say, repeat of last week W1AW still going strong and V5/DJ7JC (Namibia) in on Monday and Tuesday.
This is a wonderful picture from their web page, click here.
Me, I just worked a couple of European stations on PSK.
Dave VK5MRD reports that he is missing 10m but does not have any time.

Sun: Just 1 teeny weeny sunspot and Solar activity remains very low. The only sunspot (AR2119) is on the Earth-facing side of the sun, and it has a simple magnetic field that poses no threat for strong explosions. NOAA forecasters estimate a scant 1% chance of M- or X-flares during the next 24 hours.

Stoke City drew 1-1 with Borussia Mönchengladbach and in the cricket England blew away a perfectly good chance to beat India in the 2 nd session of the 5 th day. Our batters could not cope with the hostile (but excellent) bowling from Ishant Sharma, 7 wickets for 74 runs, or the obvious field placing of M.S. Dhoni. We didn’t even make it to tea! And yes, I paid good money to watch it.
