RA1ALA/1, WHITE SEA AND BARENTS SEA IOTA TOUR -
Michael, RA1ALA and Misha, UB1AHJ plan activity from islands in the White Sea and Barents Sea. The tentative schedule suggests early August for this. They will be sailing on a 15m long schooner visiting the following islands:
 Sosnovets, EU-147
 Korga, EU-160
 Mudyugsky, EU-153
While sailing to the islands look for RA1ALA/MM beginning July 20th. QSL via UA1ANA. [DX-World]

RI0Z, KARAGINSKIY ISLAND -
Vasili RA1ZZ/3 and team are planning an expedition to Karaginskiy island (AS-064, RRA RR-12-03, RDA KT-11, WLOTA 0713), last activated over twelve years ago.
The primary goal is to activate KT-11 for the Russian District Award (RDA) program, but after discovering that Karaginskiy is in that district, they also decided to tackle the island for both RDA and IOTA.
Fund raising is underway to charter a boat, and even minimal contributions are welcome.
Final dates depend on the weather and the ship's schedule, but approx 21-28 August 2014.
The team plans to operate maritime mobile out of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky the two days sailing to and from the island, and RI0Z on Karaginskiy.
A website (http://ri0z.org/) has been set up with full info.
