Operators Mamuka, 4L2M, Levan, 4L5C, Shota, 4L5DJ, and 4L2IKA team
up under the call 4L0G for the IARU HF World Championship (July
12&13) for the National Assocation of Radioamateurs of Georgia

6Y, Jamaica:
Lali, VE3NE, and his wife Agnes (HG9MAT) plan to join the IARU
contest as 6Y3M. Agnes even revived her CW for the event. QRV from

CO, Cuba:
Members of the Federacion de Radioaficionados de Cuba (FRC) will
put their HQ stations on the air as T49C, running 8 stations from 8

CT3, Madeira:
Steve, G0SGB, plans to get on the air from the 11th to the 21st as
CT9/G0SGB from Madeira (DIP MA-001, PIP MD-001, WLOTA 0053). His

DL, Germany:
Germany's team DA0HQ has set minds on defending the title of World
Champion in the upcoming IARU contest. DARC offers an award to all
stations working DA0HQ and also a sprint tournament in 3

Andy, E51AND and Kathy, E51KC, will pay a visit to Mangaia
(OC-159), where Kathy will work at the local school, from the 15th
to the 19th. Andy will get on the air in SSB and also slow CW,

E72NATO marks the cooperation of NATO and Bosnia-Herzegovina

EA, Spain:
Members of the European Ros Club operate the special event station
EG5FPN in the context of the Fiestas Patronales Moros y Cristianos

Leeds hosted the prologue of this year's Tour de France. Barrie,

Italian amateurs join the IARU championship as II0HQ, representing
the Associazione Radioamatori Italiani with twelve stations in CW

ARI Tortona will get on the air as IQ1TW from Castellania, the
birthplace of Fausto Coppi, cycling legend and champion of the

Japanese amateurs join forces as 8N1HQ for the IARU championship
from the following locations: Minato-ku, Tokyo Metropolitan Area
(FEDXP) 10m/CW and 80m/CW, 75m/SSB; Kimitsu City, Chiba Prefecture
(University of Tokyo Contest Club) 15m/CW; Naka Gun, Kanagawa
Prefecture (International DX Radio Club) 15m/SSB and 10m/SSB.
Outside the contest 8N1HQ may also appear on other bands and modes.
Each QTH has designed individual QSLs; cards come automatically via
bureau, LoTW.
