Island activities:
4L, Georgia:
Operators Mamuka, 4L2M, Levan, 4L5C, Shota, 4L5DJ, and 4L2IKA team
up under the call 4L0G for the IARU HF World Championship (July
12&13) for the National Assocation of Radioamateurs of Georgia
(NARG). QSL via EA7FTR, direct only; Ukrainian stations via bureau
to UT7QF.
6Y, Jamaica:
Lali, VE3NE, and his wife Agnes (HG9MAT) plan to join the IARU
contest as 6Y3M. Agnes even revived her CW for the event. QRV from
July 11 to 14, QSL via VE3NE.
CO, Cuba:
Members of the Federacion de Radioaficionados de Cuba (FRC) will
put their HQ stations on the air as T49C, running 8 stations from 8
locations, most of them with low power setups and wire antennas:

C9, Mozambique:
Daniel, ZS6JR, continues to operate holiday-stle as C91JR from
Bilene until the 12th. QRV mainly in RTTY and PSK with 100W and a

CT3, Madeira:
Steve, G0SGB, plans to get on the air from the 11th to the 21st as
CT9/G0SGB from Madeira (DIP MA-001, PIP MD-001, WLOTA 0053). His
main focus is on activating lighthouses. QRV on 20 and 40m. QSL via
homecall, direct only.
DL, Germany:
Germany's team DA0HQ has set minds on defending the title of World
Champion in the upcoming IARU contest. DARC offers an award to all
stations working DA0HQ and also a sprint tournament in 3
categories. QSL via bureau.
E5, South Cook:
Andy, E51AND and Kathy, E51KC, will pay a visit to Mangaia
(OC-159), where Kathy will work at the local school, from the 15th
to the 19th. Andy will get on the air in SSB and also slow CW,
looking for SKCC members. QSLs via E51AND, direct only.
E7, Bosnia-Herzegovina:
E72NATO marks the cooperation of NATO and Bosnia-Herzegovina
established in 2006. QRV until the year's end. QSL via E73Y,
ClubLog/OQRS, LoTW, eQSL.
EA, Spain:
Members of the European Ros Club operate the special event station
EG5FPN in the context of the Fiestas Patronales Moros y Cristianos
until July 20. QSL via EA7HBC, eQSL.
EA6, Balearic Islands:
Freddy, F5IRO, will be active as EA6/F5IRO from near Palma de
Mallorca (EU-004) until the 13th. QRV on 40-10m in CW with a QRP
rig. QSL via h/c.
EL, Liberia:
Mahmoud, EL2CE, Dickson, EL2DT, and Richmond, EL2BG, are going to
put the Liberia Radio Amateur Association (LRAA) on the air with
the call EL2BEN during the IARU championship. The call honours Ben,
EL2BA, past president of the LRAA. QSL direct via EL2BG: I.

F, France:
The Radio Club Albertin (F5KOU) commemorates the Battle of the
Somme with the call TM100BS on the following dates:

G, England:
Leeds hosted the prologue of this year's Tour de France. Barrie, G1JYB, Stephany, G1LAT, and other members of the Sands Contest Group support the event on the air with the special call GB4TDF until the end of the month. QTH is Hancocks Radio Hut (WAB SD67).

MX0EPC is a special event call of the European PSK Club operated by
various members. QSL via LZ3HI.
HH, Haiti:
Sergio, PY3SB, remains active from Port-au-Prince until December as
HH2/PY3SB. QRV on 40-6m in CW and SSB. QSL direct via homecall,
HC, Ecuador:
Members of the Quito Radio Club (HC1QRC) celebrate their club's
82nd anniversary with the call HD082QRC from the 13th to the 23rd.
QRV on 160-2m in CW, SSB, and RTTY. QSL via HC1JQ, direct only.
I, Italy:
Italian amateurs join the IARU championship as II0HQ, representing
the Associazione Radioamatori Italiani with twelve stations in CW
and SSB on all six bands. QSL via bureau, LoTW, eQSL.

ARI Tortona will get on the air as IQ1TW from Castellania, the
birthplace of Fausto Coppi, cycling legend and champion of the
1940s. QRV on July 12&13. For a corresponding award see
QSL via bureau.
JA, Japan:
Japanese amateurs join forces as 8N1HQ for the IARU championship
from the following locations: Minato-ku, Tokyo Metropolitan Area
(FEDXP) 10m/CW and 80m/CW, 75m/SSB; Kimitsu City, Chiba Prefecture
(University of Tokyo Contest Club) 15m/CW; Naka Gun, Kanagawa
Prefecture (International DX Radio Club) 15m/SSB and 10m/SSB.
Outside the contest 8N1HQ may also appear on other bands and modes.
Each QTH has designed individual QSLs; cards come automatically via
bureau, LoTW.
