Best antenna for 2m/70cm HT (Yaesu FT-60R) for outdoor/SOTA activation

I have been searching here and there for a good antenna to carry on my hiking, and it seems like it usually boils down to either a yagi antenna or a slim jim j-pole antenna. As someone who never used either, what are the pros and cons of each?

I guess I am mainly looking for a lightweight, but effective antenna that could be used outdoor.
