SMA HT Antenna without “Flush Mounts”

Just picked up a Tera TR-7400, which is so far a great radio. It’s quite a bit longer than my MD-380 and Yaesu FT1D using the OEM antennas. I’d like to use either my Retech or Comet stubby antennas, but neither seem to screw in all the way.

As you can see in the picture, the Tera OEM antenna has a slightly lowered SMA female connector while the radio itself is a bit of a “raised lip” around the SMA male jack.

Anyone know of a suitable aftermarket antenna that would work in this environment? Worst case scenario is I grind down the lip, but would rather not do that….
