14/03/2014: Maurizio, IK2GZU, will once again return to the Mission Ilembula.
Tanzania, to do some work at the new hospital and orphanage between 14th March
and 11th April 2014. He plans to be active during his spare time as 5H3MB on the
HF bands. Maurizio will use his FT-100 and the mission's TS-850 into a tri-band
3 element beam (20/15/10m) fixed on Europe and a vertical or dipole for the

14/03/2014: Look for Peter, EI7CC, to be active once again as 7P8PB from Maseru
(WW Loc. KG30RQ), Kingdom of Lesotho beween 14 March and 3 April 2014. Activity

14/03/2014: Masa, JA0RQV, plans to visit Tonga again, and will QRV as A35JP
from 14th to 20th March 2014 from Nuku'alofa, Tongatapu Island (OC-049, Grid
Loc. AG28), Kingdom of Tonga. Since it is not DX vacation but business trip, the
operation will be during his spare time after primary business, mostly at night

14/03/2014: Kazu, M0CFW, plans to be active as MJ0CFW from St. Brelade, isle of
Jersey (EU-013, WLOTA 0818, WW Loc. IN89VE) from 14-16th March 2014. QRV on the
HF bands. His main focus will be on the Russian DX Contest and BARTG RTTY

14/03/2014: Operators Ismael XE1AY, Alejandro XE1FAS, David XE1REW, Gustavo
XE1KKK, Enrique XE2AA, Jorge XE2AMS, Benjamin XE2AU and Juan XE2AY will be
active as XF1T from Cocinas Island (IOTA NA-189), in front of Punta Perula,
Jalisco (WW Loc. DK79TC) on 14-17th March, 2014. QRV on 160-10 metre CW, SSB,

14/03/2014: Guests of the Catamaran "Cush" sailing the Caribbean Sea, look for
Simone, HP2/IK5RUN and Danio, HP2/I5OYY to be active from two Panamanian island
groups between 15 March and 2 April 2014. They plan to be QRV from the San Blas
Archipelago (IOTA NA-170) and the Colon-Veraguas group (IOTA NA-202) during this

15/03/2014: Zsolt, HA8FY/p and Geza, HA8DD/p plan to activate Duna-Drava
National Park (WWFF HAFF-003) on 15th March 2014 from about 0600z to 1000z. QRV

Myanmar, on a Foundation for Global Children (FGC) mission between 15-21 March

15/03/2014: Hugh, W4VAB, will be active holiday style as ZF2MT from Grand
Cayman Island (NA-016, WLOTA 1042) on 15-22 March 2014. He will operate CW and
PSK31 on 40-10 metres, using a KX3, Ten-Tec model 418 with 100W amp and a

15/03/2014: Members of the Campina Amataeur Radio DX Group (CARDX) will
activate Serra do Jatoba Summit (750m, WW Loc. HI12PM), Paraiba State, Brazil,
as ZY7J for only 24 hours, starting on 15th March and ending on the 16th of
March 2014. QRV on 80-10 metre CW and SSB, including WARC bands. Team members

16/03/2014: Guy, F5MNW, will be active as FR/F5MNW from Reunion Island (AF-016,

16/03/2014: On Sunday 16th March 2014, weather permitting, Leonardo IW5EFX/p
will be active the Bosco della SS Trinita Nature Reserve (WWFF IFF-702), located
in the commune of Santa Fiora, region of Tuscany [Toscana], Italy. The area
boasts a variety of white firs, a native species of the Apennine area. Altitude
in the area varies from 600 to 720 meters and is located on the western slopes
of the Monte Calvo. The important SS Trinita Franciscan convent (DAI reference
TC-1065) is located inside the nature reserve. QSL via home call, Bureau or

17/03/2014: Ark, UA4CC and Arunas, LY2IJ will be QRV (holiday-style) from
Bequia island (NA-025) as J8/UA4CC and J8/LY2IJ between 17-26 March 2014.

19/03/2014: Operators Bogdan SP2FUD, Kazik SP6AXW, Leszek SP6CIK, Janusz SP9FIH
and Robert SP9WZS will be active as VP2V/homecall from the Lo'Blolly Beach
Cottages, located on the island of Anegada (NA-023, WW Loc. FK78UR). QRV on
160-6 metre CW, SSB and RTTY. They will also participate in the CQWW WPX SSB
Contest (29-30 March) using the callsign VP2VAK (QSL via SP9FIH). Outside the
contest the team will focus on JA and Asian stations. Short and long path routes
will be checked on 15m, 12m and 10m bands in proper time to make more contacts.

20/03/2014: Note: The following information from the Russian language RRC
reflector was translated by Will, WC6DX. - Vlad, R3HD and Slava, UA3DK will
depart Hanoi and operate as 3W1D and 3W4DK, respectively, from Cat Ba island
(IOTA AS-132, WWFF 3WFF-007) until the end of March. They plan to operate 5-28
MHz with the possibility of adding 80m and 160m later on. QSL 3W1D via SP5PB;
the manager for 3W4DK is yet to be determined. Note: scheduled dates are

20/03/2014: Tatsu ("Ted"), JF1CCH, will be active as 8Q7TS from Hulhumale
Island, North Male Atoll, Republic of the Maldives (AS-013) from 20-31 March
2014, including an entry in the CQWW WPX SSB Contest (29-30th March). He will
operate CW, SSB and RTTY on 40-10 metres, possibly also on 160 and 80 metres.
QSL via home call (all of the QSOs will be confirmed automatically via the

20/03/2014: A group of six operators from the UK will operate as TX6G from the
island of Raivavae (OC-114, DIFO FO-122, WLOTA 2581), in the Australs, from 20th
March until 1st April 2014, all bands CW, SSB and RTTY. The operators are Don
G3BJ, Chris G3SVL, Nigel G3TXF, David G3WGN, Don G3XTT, Hilary G4JKS and Justin
G4TSH. They plan to run up to three stations, each consisting of a K3 plus
amplifier. Antennas will consist of various vertical systems on the beach. The
team will upload logs to Clublog and, bandwidth permitting, will also be
uploading to LoTW as the expedition progresses. QSLs will be handled by G3TXF
and requests can be made directly or via the Clublog OQRS facility. After the
DXpedition most members of the team will be attending the International DX

21/03/2014: Look for Zhang, BA3AX and Lu, BD3AEO to be active as homecalls/3
from Yuetuo [Yue Tuo] Island (AS-134), Leting county, HeBei province, China,
between 21-24 March 2014. Plans are to be QRV with focus on 20-15 metre CW, SSB,

21/03/2014: Mike, W1USN (RNARS #3889) and Bob, AA1M will be QRV from Costa de
Pajaros, Costa Rica, between 21 March and 1 April as TI8/home call. Operations
will be 80-10m SSB, CW, PSK-31 and maybe some RTTY. Mike will be operating the
CQWW WPX SSB Contest during the weekend of 29-30th March. All QSL's for both

21/03/2014: Hartwig, DL7BC, plans to be active as TO7BC from Tsingoni, Mayotte
Island (AF-027, DIFO FH-001, WLOTA 0376) between 21 March and 4 April, 2014. QRV
on 20-10m (maybe 40m) with 100 Watts and spiderbeam, including an entry in the

21/03/2014: The following Japanese operators will again be active from Burkina
Faso between 21-26 March 2014: XT2AEF (via JH3AEF), XT2IVU (via JA3IVU) and

21/03/2014: Operators Barry ZS1FJ-9V1FJ-ZL1MFW-G4MFW, Sandro VE7NY, Franz
OE2SNL and Graham ZL1BMG will be active as ZL7AAA from Chatham Island (OC-038,
WLOTA 1627) between 21-31 March 2014. The stations will be on the air 7 days per
week, 24 hours per day in 6-hour shifts per operator. QRV on all bands from

14/03/2014: Until 31st December 2014, Radio Club Nikola Tesla (YU1HQR) Sabac
commemorates the 100th anniversary of the famous battle on the mountain Cer
1914, which is located close to the city, using the special callsign YU100CER in
memory of the victims. By way of management and outcome, Cer Battle is a
masterpiece of the art of war, and as a remarkable example of the transition
from the strategic defense of their counterattacks, she is still studying at
major military academies, including West Point and the U.S. QSL via YU1HQR

14/03/2014: Commemorating the occasion of the 120 years of the establishment of
the primary school "VOJVODA STEPA" (1894 - 2014) in Belgrade. Radio club Banjica

ALAND ISLANDS IN RUSSIAN DX CONTEST THIS COMING WEEKEND, CW & SSB
The callsign OH0W is a symbol of national bonding among Finnish contesters in
1982 when fifty of them spearheaded their Northern country in scoring a team
contesting multi-multi category world win in the CQWW DX Contest.
In the same spirit, the Team Finland, OH2UA and OH6KZP are busy in lining up
their equipment for the upcoming WRTC-2014 ijn Boston.together Similarly,
RadioTeam Azores, OH2BH and OH2MM, coached by OH8NC and technically supported by
OH6KN, are currently on Aland Islands to shape-up their gear and skills for the
battle.
The Team Azores will activate the world renowed OH0W at a modest power of 100
watts on all bands. You can salute them on two bands simultaneously for the
duration of 24 hours.

5V, TOGO -
Czech DXpedition team organizes another expedition, this time to Togo.
Preliminary dates are end of September, approximately for 10 days. Operators:

Antenna/radio setup: 2 x K3, 1xKX3, 2x PA, Antennas 2 x Spiderbeam incl WARC, 1

Henryk's (SM0JHF) visit to Mindelo on Sao Vicente island, Cape Verde, is going
to last until the end of March, and will see him operating as D44CF with 80W and

HS, KOH PHANGAN ISLAND -
David, HS0ZLU is active from Koh Phangan Island (AS-101, WLOTA 1441) until

Vlad, UA4WHX, has been QRV since 12th March as HK0/UA4WHX from the island of

During the period of time that the VK9MT Team will be traveling both to and
from Mellish Reef, and while involved in radio operations upon the reef, there
will be no communications with the Team except via the established pilot
network. All comment sections on Facebook, and our webpage, will be turned off.
