Looking to broadcast aviation weather data in canada (home brew ADS-B ground station)

I’ve been quite active over in /r/stratux designing cases and portable power setups.

Sadly there are no plans to broadcast weather data in Canada and this is by far the greatest safety improvement for light aircraft. Live weather radar along with Metars and TAFs is incredibly useful.

Is this sort of transmit only digital data stream possible under the Canadian amateur radio laws? Some of the text weather data could be sent over APRS but I don’t think it has the bandwidth for radar.

Any thoughts?
