Motorola GP339 – When using rear accessory port for PTT switching an external mic can I still use the handmike without having to disable the functions in CPS?

To better explain, can I have the situation where if the handmike is picked up the ptt on the side tells the radio to use the handmike microphone and if the PTT is activated via accessory pins the radio know to take the audio from the mic attached to the accessory?
