HOA community. I’m not 100% on how they would react to an antenna, but judging by some other run-ins I’ve had I imagine it wouldn’t be good. I’ve tried HF with attic antennae, mainly wires, and not much luck. I have no trees in the back yard, and I’m looking for something I can put up and take down relatively easy, without radials. I actually have an NA4RR hex but no real convenient way to utilize it at home. I am looking at verticals, something like the Alpha ProMaster and similar.
Any suggestions? I really want to find something so I don’t give up on the hobby. I listen to a lot of VHF in the truck commuting, but I have a beautiful KX2 at home that doesnt get used because I have no real antenna set up at home and I don’t get out enough to use it /p. Mostly interested in SSB, I would be interested in digi if I had enough time to learn it.
