Regensburg hosts the 99th German Katholikentag (Catholics Day)

May 28 to June 1. DL2014DKT operates in this context from April

Z8, South Sudan:
Diya, Z81D (YI1DZ) and Massimo (Z81B, IZ0EGB) have decided to
suspend their radio activities until next month in the face of
recent political events. Up to now no official restrictions have
been enacted, but they see a need to avoid any misunderstandings
with the involved political forces.

Mike, AG6IP, visits friends on Cyprus and gets on the air as
ZC4MIS

C7A and 4Y1A:
The Vienna International Amateur Radio Club announces that it is
now hosting two new calls, C7A and 4Y1A. C7A represents the
World
Meteorological Organization and 4Y1A the International Civil
Aviation Organization. Both calls count as OE for DXCC purposes.
It
is hoped that the calls increase awareness for the organizations
and the UN in general. N.B.: When Johannes (DK8JB), the present
DXMB editor, asked about a possible activity as C7WMO 40 years
ago
his inquiry was met with "we don't deal with call signs".
DXCC-Status Crimea:
DXers currently debate the status of the Crimea peninsula
regarding
its status for the DXCC and other location based awards.
Stations
from there used to sign UU1-0 (Crimean Republic) und UU9
(Sevastopol) according to Ukrainian licensing.
