 Quite a good week with VK9MT and W1AW (varieties) running well. Loads of other DX about. I worked more Russians but my highlight was ZD7FT (St Helena Is), and M8C (Cray Valley, England).First, a reply from Steven, 2E0NHR who says the call R0000O is the Winter Olympic special call. Thanks for that Steven, I should have known, though in my defence I had R0000o and it just looked wrong. Also Steven worked UP7KEDR 5/9 on Tuesday. But in his words, “10m for me this week has been very poor...did the Sunday half of the Polish contest and didn’t get 1 QSO on it. Only worked 1 station this week!” But he managed 2 on Wednesday, RO80KEDR 5/9 and 9K2F 5/9. That’s how it goes some times. I’ve had grand children trouble. Sun: Seven or so sunspot clusters but none with the energy needed to flare. In only 5 days, Mars will make its closest approach to Earth since 2012. Stoke lost to Chelsea 3 – 0. We were good for 30minutes and then we lost our way and they were too good. But at least it wasn’t 6 – 0 like Arsenal were beaten.
