TX6G (Raivavae Island)
A fantastic week and 10m culminating with the CQWW WPX contest with over 10,600 contacts reported on Saturday and over 11,400 on Sunday.
TX6G (Raivavae Island in the Australs) was most contacted during the week with D3AA (Angola) and VK9MT (Mellish Reef) at the weekend.

VK5MRD, Big Dave has sent a quickie reports in. “Great to hear from you mate. I have called into GB3LV via IRLP a few times but I have not had much luck. I am very busy with my business and it only gives me a short break in between jobs or my lunch break. I know one day soon we will catch up via either IRLP or Echolink. Hope your enjoying your new Icom! Catch you soon mate.” Soon Dave will be out of summertime and we may have compatible time for a chat.

TX6G (Raivavae Island)
9W2FOR, Fauzan , sent in this. Worked YF1AR/8 5/9,P29FR 5/9,BG7SDV 5/8, DK3EE 5/9, TJ3AY 5/9, MW0ZZK 5/9 and heard JE1RXJ 5/9, VK9MT 5/9, IZ3LEV 5/9, VU2UUU 5/7, II0SPQR 5/9, IK2YXP 5/9, EA1XI 5/9, IT9HCS, EB5WC 5/9, 9K2WA 5/9, YB1FNO 5/9
“I'm just going back from Indonesia for vacation.
Lots of antenna types that I found there.
Hope one day I can upgrade my antenna system too.
This week I worked 4 new DXCC Countries and 1 special event callsign. So thanks again. Bye 73”

Nazmi, 9W2GSG , sent in this report for last Tuesday. Worked VK3BD 5/9, RC0LAG 5/9, JA4GQD 5/9, ZL2WHO 5/9, VK3LPJ 5/9, VK4FXAC 5/9, ZL3PX 5/9, VK3HJD 5/9, DV2XXX 5/9, JQ6QNQ 5/8, JF3MYU 5/9. He says,“Hi Tony. I want to wish all the best and good luck for all 9M land stations and also all station in the world who are in the CQ WPX contest on this weekend 29-30 march 2014. Enjoy DX on 10m..deep condolences for crew and passenger of Malaysian air lines aircraft MH370...73 from west Malaysia..Jumpa Lagi!!!”
It doesn’t look good for the plane. We have a rather obscure phrase here in the UK, “The show’s not over ‘till the fat lady sings.” Which means roughly “Until we know definitely then anything is possible”.

9W2VVH, Arie is in fine form. “Hi Tony... senyum selalu . Here is my report. Thursday Mar 27. Wkd only XX9LT and heard 4K6FO. Friday Mar 28 - Wkd SP8K, YO7AOT, UA6YD, OK1XC, YO6PSD/M & UT7LA. Heard AC6DX. Mar 29 & 30 - Participating in CQWPX SSB Contest as 9M4CSB in SOSB 10M categori. Wkd 123 stns 32.3k points.”
Pretty good but some of guys in the contest were many 1000s of contacts. Not me I just worked a few stateside and Russian stations.

Steve, VK3MEG sent this. “Hi, just a quick report. Over 50 countries worked on 10m in CQ WPX ,including the Aland islands, Kenya, Mozambique, Reunion, Mayotte, JT1BV. Lots of 10m activity here, did work TZ6BB with my 100w and 5 element tri banders and a rare contact from VK3. Plenty of others, 106 countries worked on 10m ssb this year from vk3. lastly David ZS8Z with a 5/9 report into Melbourne on Tuesday”I get the feeling that Steve wrote that all in one breath.

Steven, 2E0NHR worked (R0000o must be a typo), E77A, J43TR and UN7JX. Let me know what that first one was Steven.
