OH, Finland:
Vaasa's radio club (OH6AA) celebrates its 60 year history with
the
call OF60A until the end of the year. On June 8 they activated
Bjorkon Island (EU-101) and plan to visit Hailuoto Island

rest

OL125D is a special event activity dedicated to the 125th
anniversary of the company Draeger. QRV until June 20 during a

PY, Brazil:
Brazilian amateurs are permitted special calls from June 12 to
July
13 by modifying their call's numeral, e.g. PT5XYZ turns in
PT55XYZ.
In the case of Brazil winning the World Cup they are further
permitted to append a "6" to their calls until August 31.
SP, Poland:
SN0MDY continues to operate during the civic event Powiat

The military club station SP1PBW celebrates its 45th anniversary
on

Howard O. "H.O." Townsend, K5CX (ex-WA5MLT) died on May 30 aged
69.
He was an Honor Roll DXer, ARRL's West Gulf Division Assistant
Director and past Section Emergency Coordinator. During the ARRL
Centennial QSO Party he operated W1AW/5 from Texas earlier this
year.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends. We are sorry for
their loss.
