Inverted, inverted L for 80/40?

Last week I put up a 40m vertical on a guyed mast, idea is to end feed it at the roof line and lay out elevated radials , mostly pulled to the adjacent fence and laying on the metal roof, as many tuned length as possible.

I let the wire run long at the bottom, giving me about 10′ extra that I can run to the fence as well, coming out with the radials at close to horizontal.

If this wire runs parallel to and near the radials, will this negatively affect the performance of the antenna as a whole? Cebik speaks of an “erect L”, not sure if this is what he means. The goal is to have an effective antenna for 75m, most of my operating being at night.
